Your Cozy Home in Greensburg, Laurel Highlands, near Seton Hill, Excela Health
Cozy apartment that makes you feel at home! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, great for walks, Prantl's award-winning bakery and a Thai restaurant are 3-minute walks away. Private parking for one car, easy access to major highways, 5-minute walk to Excela Health Westmoreland, 5 minute drive to Seton Hill University, 15ish minutes to Irwin and Latrobe. Downtown Greensburg just down the hill with primo coffee shops and restaurants. Parks, walking trails nearby. Great playground within sight.
My neighborhood was originally THE neighborhood of the county capital city. Overlooking the city and the County Courthouse building, the houses on the street in front of me were the judges' and top lawyers'. My house was the servant house for the one in front of me. The neighborhood is gentrifying, safe , great for walks to see how upscale neighborhoods of yesteryear are revitalizing after slumping when local businesses were lost due to big box businesses. Our small city offers amazing food just walks away, and Palace Theater down the hill.
You are welcome to use the yard below the parking area. Three sides are fenced, with the other easy to monitor your fur friends.
The bedroom is comfortable and includes a desk and chair. The bed is super comfortable with new mattress and topper. The kitchen is fully equipped, with new equipment. The living room is spacey so you have room to move around, and the WiFi very strong.
Twin Lakes is nearby with a 1-3.5 mile figure 8 walk around two beautiful lakes, complete with wild ducks, geese, frogs and fish. Let alone birds, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The Laurel Highlands and storybook town Ligonier are a 40-minute get-away drive with hiking easily accessible, long or short, trail or sidewalk. Several wineries are nearby, too, that feature bands and other entertainment.
Pittsburgh is 45-minutes away, with its plethora of art, history, amusement, parks and all types of delicious food types available. We are a city of neighborhoods and they are fun to explore!

As an avid traveler who has stayed in bed and breakfasts around the world, I am excited about welcoming guests to my home! Greensburg and the Laurel Highlands have so much to offer:. Beautiful parks, like Twin Lakes and the Laurel Highlands trails; easy access to Pittsburgh; convenient to shops and services.
We have live theatre just down the road, and the world class Westmoreland Museum of American Art. And so much history! George Washington slept here

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
My house is in town, but feels like a private sanctuary because it is nestled in-between main streets. I can be downtown in 2 minutes, to the main highway in same, and therefore grocery shopping, the mall in 10 minutes. And a direct route to Pittsburgh or exploring the mountains and valleys of the Laurel Mountains.
