Absolutely stunning best describes home on the Nubble in York Beach. The first floor features a bedroom/game room and the entry way. The second floor is where you find the open concept kitchen, living room, dining room. Beautiful hardwood floors, upscale kitchen, ocean views and balcony...what could be better? It's the perfect spot to enjoy your family and friends while relaxing during your seaside vacation! This floor also has a beautiful en-suite with private tiled bath as well as a half bath with laundry. On the third floor, there is the master suite, again with private tiled bath and 2 balconies, bedroom with two queen beds, and the bunk room that is perfect for the kids and a shared full bath with tub. The whole house is comfortable with central AC, has WiFi and 3 flat-screen TVs. The kitchen/dining area seats 14. Parking for 4 vehicles, two in the garage and two between the house and the pavers. New sidewalks down Nubble Rd makes it easy to walk to Long Sands or Short Sands Beaches.

54 Nubble Road Is A Magical Place!

Thank you to our host Heidi for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home by the sea. My family and I which included my husband, grown children and their spouses and my five grandchildren ages three to eleven, stayed there 8/12-8/11. We all had the most amazing vacation! The house was spacious, tastefully decorated and filled with light. Whether we were gathered in the comply living room or seated in the large dining area, we all had plenty of space. The outside decks had gorgeous views of the water and were a great place to relax and just enjoy the views. The short walk to Long Sands Beach was a favorite destination. We loved it there and the kids had a great time swimming and boogie boarding in the gentle surf. My oldest granddaughter even got out to do a bit of surfing with her dad. It was so exciting to see them all having so much fun. There were also family trips to town and Perkins Cove, and, of course, ice cream at Dunn’s. It was a wonderful week filled with special moments and precious memories that will last a lifetime. We all hope to return someday soon.

This was our third time staying at this property for our adult family of 13. The home is beautiful and very well maintained. Great location.

Great place

Great location with easy walking distance to short sands, long sands beach and Nubble lighthouse. Well stocked with beach and kitchen amenities. Clean well appointed property. We would stay here again.

Amazing Stay!

The house was extremely clean! Very comfortable for our 9 guests, and everyone had a bed. The kitchen was well equipped and so easy to gather our group in. The location was perfect! Communication with the management company was easy. Would highly recommend for families or groups. Great experience!

Best Summer Rental: Clean modern house, great location, all the amenities

This was the best summer rental that our family has had. Here are the good things: 1. House is perfect for entertaining. They have every amenity you can imagine. Good selection of kitchen items even >12 lobster crackers. Good pots and pans. Great set of Henckel knives, plenty of plastic glassware (not glass), but they were high quality. Plenty of seating at dining table and bar area. Great 3 burner Weber Spirit Grill with a spare propane tank. 2. The bedrooms are large and the beds are all good. There have been some complaints from other reviews of the bunk beds but the kids didn’t complain. 3. I asked about beach chairs and was told they didn’t have any. There were 6 beach chairs in the garage and at least 4 boogie boards probably left by last renters. 4. Location is perfect. About a 7 min walk to Long Sands. 15 min to Short Sands. 5. The house was clean when we arrived. 6. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and bath towels 7. Good washer and dryer. 8. Great TVs and cable stations 9. Safe neighborhood. 10. Management company answered emails quickly. Here are the few negatives: 1. There is a pricey sheet rental fee (sateen sheets) that they don’t tell you up front. They don’t make the beds. You have to make 10 beds up upon arrival, which I have never had to do at any previous rental. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. 2. There is parking for 4 cars. 2 in the garage and 2 parallel parked in the front of the garage. The neighbor across the street monitors this. He has large rocks across from the garage on his property. So beware when pulling out. Someone hit one while we were there. When people visited we had to play musical cars. Fortunately a friend was renting nearby and had extra parking in their driveway. This was inconvenient, but all houses on the Nubble have limited parking. There is no parking on the street on the Nubble. 3. Not so good gas cooktop. It is small. A large pot on the front burners are too close to the knobs and will get burning hot. The center burner was not working where you would put a large pot. I was told by the management company that they may not be able to get someone out to look at it (which didn’t happen) it wasn’t a huge problem since the other 4 burners worked. 4. They don’t supply beach towels. I would highly recommend this house and rent again if I rent on the Nubble.

Perfect for a family vacation!

Perfect house for a vacation with our grown children and their families. We have stayed in different homes over the years and this was everyone’s favorite. The open living room and kitchen was a great space for our large group to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. House is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The sidewalk made it easy for a stroller. Beautiful views of the ocean and Long Sands Beach. We would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful home

This is likely the nicest home we have stayed in, in York Beach, and we have stayed in at least a dozen homes around short sands. The large living area easily absorbed our large family and there are views from the balconies. It was easy to walk to either of the beaches. We would highly recommend this as a great place place to stay!

Beautiful Rental.

The rental property was very nice and convenient to Long Sands and Short Sands. Easy to walk to both beaches. Also the property was close to restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with any type of cookware and dishes you would need. Would highly recommend this rental property.

Summer getaway

Lovely home in a perfect location between beaches; shopping and light house. Very well maintained Ed home with all amenities. Great room for our teen boys to hang out with a little bit of privacy. Would most definitely stay again.

Beautiful House Convenient to All York Beach Attractions

This house was the perfect spot to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday with multiple generations of family. Convenient to different beaches, "downtown" York Beach, Nubble Lighthouse and more, our week there was exactly as we had hoped. The house itself is beautiful and very conducive to community time together in the giant kitchen/dining/living room area.

Great Place for entertaining

The common space of the house is amazing. Great space for gathering, eating and entertaining. The house was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked. The only complaint we had were the bunk beds were not comfortable. Fortunately there were many other comfortable beds to choose from. Overall it was a great place to stay, I’d highly recommend!

Great house for large families

We had a great time at the house. It was really comfortable for the 10 of us. The large open great room/kitchen were excellent for family meals and gatherings. It was nice that we were short walk to two beaches, downtown and the ice cream shop! The decks were great places to enjoy the ocean air, but were not big enough for all of us. The only downside of the house was the outdoor space. It would’ve been nice to have more outdoor space to hang out together.

What an amazing house. Excellent location in walking distance to beaches and towns. House was very clean. We enjoyed the spacious area in kitchen /living area .it was a great place for our group of 9 . The kids enjoyed the lower level room for some privacy . Would definitely visit again .

Beautiful beach house

This house is beautiful and in a great location. It is a short walk to Long Sands Beach (even 2 year old twins made the walk!) and a quick drive to Short Sands Beach or Nubble Lighthouse. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space for everyone. The house has everything you need and was very clean when we arrived. The kids loved being able to see the ocean from the balcony and greeting all the people walking by. We had a wonderful stay and would definitively stay again!

Awesome stay!

This property is everything shown in the listing and more! Well maintained, clean, and great location. My family of 9 comfortably stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. The only call out I would make is that this house is not right on the water but you still have some views of the water from the house.

Can’t say enough good things

I booked this house last minute due to plans falling through on me. Heidi was nothing but helpful and super easy to work with. Quick, clean and easy process. The house was amazing. Beautiful, up to date, clean and amazing view. I couldn’t of asked for anything better. I’m sure you will enjoy it too

We really enjoyed this property for our family vacation this summer!

We would definitely rent this property again, very well maintained by the management company. Clean and spacious accommodations, one down side was not much outdoor space.
