Nice, pleasant communication. Easy location for near downtown Ocean Springs. The train does shake it up a little but only 3/4 times a day- overall not too bad. Parking out back made it easy!

This Charming Cottage in Ocean Springs, MS, is located in a cottage neighborhood, so you are in your own little village. Everything is close by. We ate in two waterfront restaurants, shopped downtown, crossed over into Biloxi, and used our location to explore the Mississippi coast. Plenty to see and do. The Cottage has a front porch, which was a delightful spot for a relaxing morning coffee.

Amazing Location

This location cannot be beat and the house is really cute. The only downside is that a train runs directly behind it - the trains aren't as frequent at night but it can be pretty during the day. I'd still stay again!

Quick girls getaway

Beautiful updated property in a fantastic location. The train is a bit annoying but would still stay here again. I don’t feel like the cleaning crew is doing a thorough job.

Perfect quiet getaway

The cottage was lovely and well appointed especially since it was just myself. The manager was kind enough to let me bring my cat who had never seen a staircase but loved exploring and navigating the steps and gazing out the windows. My only comment that is negative in any way is that the couch looks like it’s going to be so comfortable and instead is hard as a brick. That’s ashame. Otherwise everything was great. Thanks so much!

Terrible Experience. We had to leave after only 5 hours

We had a short, but terrible experience at this property.We had trouble getting into the property. We followed the instructions given by the host, but had to message several times through the app, and then contact the host directly to get access to the property.Once inside the property the floor on the main level was dirty upon our arrival. We had to sweep the floor to clean up crumbs, thistles, dirt, and feathers. We cleaned the floor before we could begin to unload for our stay.The downstairs couch is extremely uncomfortable. It is hard to sit on, and has no back support. The back of the couch was coming away from the base, making it lean backwards.The noise from the trains is very loud. We heard a 5pm and a 5:10pm train go by. The entire house was rumbling and the trains blew horns the entire time as they passed by the residences. This was very loud, and had we stayed, we would not have been able to sleep through the train noise.After we brought our baggage into the property, we left our 4 lb Yorkie in a play pen in the downstairs and we went to eat dinner. When we came back (about 2 hours later) our dog was scratching herself repeatedly, and upon inspection we saw that she was covered in fleas. We had just driven 4 hours from our home (with her in one of our laps the whole way as we drove). We did not see any fleas on her and she was not scratching or exhibiting any signs of being in distress. But within a few hours in this property she had fleas.

Eric as discussed you were entering the wrong door code. I responded immediately and opened it remotely for you for the fastest entry for you. We also discussed the flea issue in great details as well. There have been no complaints of fleas prior to your arrival or after. My housekeeper was there before your arrival and did not see fleas. A veterinarian confirmed that by your description the fleas could not have originated in our home without it being a completed infested which is not the case. Even your claims do not include the yourself or the home, only your pet. A pest control company evaluated the home after your departure. They documented that there were no signs of fleas. All other items you are complaining about only started after you were denied a refund. Again I hope you were able to get your pet treated.
