Casa Rubí - Coco Nosara is a gated family-focused, boutique resort on 2/3 of an acre in Guiones, anchored by its 1,000 sqft swimming pool within walking distance to the famous Playa Guiones surf beach and all Guiones offers. Coco Nosara has five single-story Villas (1600-1950 sqft) with 2-3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, high ceilings, large windows, and custom teak wood furniture. Beds are king and queen size. Full washer and dryer. Shallow end in the pool for young kids. Designed for families

The hosts were very welcoming and answered quickly to any questions I had. The accomodation was very clean, spacious, private and very felt luxurious. Everything was very new and in great working condition. The villa is located very close to Guiones and a cute bakery where I enjoyed my morning Latte and croissant ever day.

Best Vrbo experience to date! Clean, just as described, close to town and safe. There was fresh watermelon upon arrival along with coffee for the morning. Carolyn responded to all questions and was very helpful. So pleased, thank you!

Beautiful villa & lush outdoor space!

Very friendly, responsive hosts and a great location in Nosara. We stayed in one of the 5 gated villas - beautiful, clean design and they appeared to be very new when we stayed. Plenty of room for the four of us with two bedrooms.The lush outdoor space is shared with other guests and we enjoyed meeting other families. Love the pool! Open Kitchen is equipped with dishes and pots & pans. My "I wish" would be for small things like salt and pepper and coffee filters. The parking space is adequate but tight. Be careful. One of the guests accidentally backed into our car.

Coco Nosara, named after my Mom, is an ode to a pastime of spending time with family—the joy in the simplicity of just being together.​ My Mom, nicknamed Coco from childhood, recalls her life in Egypt, which she shared with nine siblings, their parents, and Nonnas. There were at least thirteen at the dinner table every night. She said they didn't have much, but they had each other. They were happy just being together.

Inspired by my Mom and her life story, our family found joy in our togetherness in Nosara. We value the closeness and simplicity of being together and want to bring this experience to other families.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, our family vacationed in Nosara in 2021. Through the guidance and mentorship of a generous family who initially hosted us here, a family now friends, Coco Nosara was designed and built for your family to experience what we value greatly and share with my Mom: our time together.

We give all the glory to God and honor our parents, grandparents, and family before us for all their hard work and sacrifices. We have been blessed with one big family, like the grand Guanacaste tree at the center of our resort. Family is our greatest gift.

Nosara is a known destination among surfers, yogis, families, and nature lovers for its impressive lush beaches, tranquility, natural beauty, and consistent waves year-round. It is located in the Nicoya Peninsula, considered one of the 5 Blue Zones of the world, areas known to have the highest concentration of people living healthily over 100 years. The locals here can live that long because of the good quality of the air and water, lots of fresh food all year long, their active lifestyle, and their deep sense of family.

Nosara is a community with many towns and beaches. Guiones is a town of travelers, visitors, and expats. You can find all the comforts you need but spread in a jungle setting. Traverse the Sandero Jungle paths and unpaved roads to find affluent hotels, yoga centers, restaurants, and shops without feeling like you are in a touristy area. Guiones is the most popular since it has consistent waves for beginners to professionals during the year.

Nosara’s uniquely beautiful beaches are all part of the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge, protecting the turtles that come each month to Ostional Beach to nest their eggs. For this reason, it is forbidden to build on the border of the beach, which has cultivated the flora and fauna in the refuge and has kept Nosara a tropical paradise. The buildings surrounding the beaches are small-scale and well-appointed. You won’t find any big international hotels or beaches full of tourists and chairs, fast food restaurants, or paved roads.

Nosara is the perfect family getaway to get grounded and connect with nature and each other.
