Nuevo apartamento de dos dormitorios (70 metros cuadrados) en el centro de Reykjavik. El apartamento tiene un dormitorio principal con una cama doble y otra habitación con literas (litera inferior: 120 x 200 cm y litera superior: 90 x 200 cm) El apartamento tiene un espacio abierto y luminoso, una cocina totalmente equipada y un gran baño. Wi-fi y 3D Smart TV con el cable incluido. Este apartamento cuenta con una plaza de aparcamiento privado. El apartamento está situado en una tranquila calle residencial, a sólo 5 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad ya sólo 5 minutos del puerto de edad. Stay in Reykjavik

Overall the property was comfortable but lacking some things that would make it better. There were not enough towels for the bathroom & the towels that were there were very rough! There were no towels or paper towels in the kitchen. Boiler pan was in the oven dirty. The owner needs to leave more instructions on how to run the appliances. We could never figure out how to run the washer/dryer. The bedrooms were hot & we were never able to get the heat down. The shower is nice but the floor is slippery and it is a very high step to get in for older people.

Awesome apt in awesome location!

Highly recommend this apt. Owner is very responsive and apt was fully equipped. Nice air via windows and slept like a baby. Don’t need a car. Within walking distance to downtown, but far away enough for quiet sleep. Coffee shops and best restaurants in the harbor area. Best fish and chips at Reykjavik Fish, and best coffee and Icelandic pancakes at the Rost!

Comfortable Property Close to Marina & Downtown

This property located between the marina and downtown was a great choice for our family during a recent Iceland vacation. The owner, Helgi, was accommodating of a late night/early morning arrival and met us close to 1 AM to help get us situation. The beds were comfortable and accommodations incredibly clean. The kitchen and living great room was an excellent space for us to hang out as a family after a day in and around Reykjavik. Our only challenge was the washer/dryer. We washed a small load of clothes but even after using the longer dryer setting, our clothes were still damp. That said, Helgi worked with us to try and get everything dry as quickly as possible.

Clean, modern, comfortable apartment

This apartment was perfect for our needs. We didn't spend much time in the apartment, but it had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. Everything was just large enough - the bathroom was modern and wasn't cramped at all. Plenty of hot water straight from the geothermal springs. The beds were comfortable and inviting. There is a master/main bedroom with one small closet, one bedside table and a mirror with shelf. The second bedroom is smaller and separated from the main living space with a curtain as the door. It really just has room for the bunk beds and one small side table, so our kids kept their suitcases in the main room/hall. We didn't use the kitchen so can't speak to that. The hosts were very responsive to all our emails and were very laid back (e.g. no contract). They answered all the questions we had about the apartment and the surrounding area, but didn't spontaneously provide any additional resources (other than maps). The location is on the west side of town, so is a bit off the beaten path. However, there is a bus stop that all the tour companies and FlyBus use that is about a 3-minute walk away at a nearby Hostel. We also walked to the old harbor area (where there are a number of restaurants) for dinner each night, about an 8-minute walk. To get to the center of town (where you find walking tours and shopping areas), we had to take a taxi, as the walk would have been about 25 minutes. But that wasn't a problem for us, as we only spent one day in town and did tours the other day. Taxis were easy to request via an app.

The perfect host

Prior to our stay we were contacted by our host to inform us that the apartment would not be available due to issues with the hot water. The issue wasn't able to be resolved prior to our arrival so the host allowed us to stay at one of their other properties. All through out the trip he ensured that we were comfortable with the new arrangement and were happy with our accommodations. While I cannot speak to this specific apartment, I can assure you that its owners will do everything they can to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Large, tidy, central apartment in Rekjyavik

We really enjoyed the apartment. It has everything you need for a family of four including a full kitchen and laundry. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Tidy and clean but very comfortable.

Lovely apartment!

Just what we needed as a family of four traveling to Reykjavik for the first time! Well equipped, tastefully furnished, conveniently located within walking distance to the city center! Helgi and Laufey were wonderfully accommodating! I highly recommend this adorable apartment!

Very pleasant stay

This apartment worked well for our family of 4. It is located within walking distance to many sights, shops, restaurants. There is a food market, bakery, park, and public pool all within an 8 block radius. A main road is 3 blocks away that connects to Highway 1, as well as the route to KEF airport. The unit is clean and well furnished, with ample room for 4 people. There is a washing machine if you need one. Parking is on the street, but we never had trouble finding a spot close by. The owner met us personally at the unit for checking in, and he was flexible in allowing us to check in a little early, since we arrived on a early AM flight. I can list only two minor annoyances: 1) the apartment is on a one way street, and due to road construction, it was a slight challenge to get to it. 2) A relative "heat wave" in the city made for warm conditions inside in the evening as there was no fan. I would highly recommend this apartment and I would stay there again when I visit Reykjavik in the future.
