The Space:
Lake Edge Townhouse is a seasonal vacation rental with a one month minimum. A special place to call home on the weekends or and a perfect temporary residence for remote workers. Sleeps up to 10 ppl comfortably and is perfect for families or a small group.
We've lovingly designed and equipped the house with the best amenities you would want in an extended stay, including:
• A fully furnished and thoughtfully decorated space with 3 bedrooms, 1 loft bedroom, 2½ baths (lower level tub and walk-in shower in the master ensuite)
• A completely stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a professional Wolf gas cooktop
• Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, and Chemex pour over
• A dedicated workspace in the master bedroom
• Kids’ playroom with TV, games, books, toys, X-box, foosball table, (ping pong table + beach and pool toys in the garage).
• High Speed 150 Mbps WIFI for zoom calls and easy streaming, 3 Smart TVs and Roku speaker system
• A great outdoor space featuring a deck overlooking the lake with seating and Weber gas grill
• 2 fireplaces
• One dedicated parking spot in the driveway and additional guest parking
• Linens, bath towels, beach towels + extra blankets are included
• A starter supply of household cleaning and hygiene products, including Keurig coffee pods will be available in the property for use. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies as needed.
• Amenities as part of the Indian Cave Landing community include shared access to heated swimming pool (Summer only) tennis and pickleball courts, brand new playset, outdoor firepit, day dock for kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and fishing (a NH fishing license is required for anyone fishing on the lake over the age of 16 and can be purchased on the NH fish and game website)
• Resident pass to Dewey Beach (Summer only)
Guest Access:
One of the best parts of booking this charming townhouse (in our opinion) is the guest book we’ve created for you with our favorite activities in the area. Carefully curated day trips, outdoor excursions and more.
Here is a quick glimpse of what the area has to offer:
Summer: Swim, kayak, fish, or simply sit on the dock and soak in the picturesque lake views. Walk down to the harbor for a boat cruise, the farmer’s market, coffee, lunch, dinner, ice cream or to listen to a live band. A short drive takes you to Dewey Beach, Sunapee State Beach and Mount Sunapee Resort, a mountain biking and aerial challenge course in the summer.
Fall: Foliage hiking at its best! There are countless trails in the area including The Fells Estate, beautiful Winslow State Park and the famous SRK Greenway. Visit the charming town of New London (just a 12 min drive) for wonderful dining and shopping options.
Winter: Curl up on the sofa by the fireplace after an adventurous day of skiing at Mount Sunapee Ski Resort (a Vail Resort on the Epic Pass). Visit Dexter’s Inn for a variety of groomed snowshoeing trails.
The Neighborhood:
Nestled along the Sugar River among New Hampshire’s mountains and forests is the quaint town of Sunapee. A 4-season tourist destination with so much to offer. Home to Lake Sunapee, the water provides the town with magnificent views and great outdoor recreation such as swimming, kayaking, fishing, and boating.
Sunapee Harbor comes alive in the summer with dining options, concerts, sunset cruises, and a weekly farmer’s market. The breathtaking foliage brings hikers during fall, and Mount Sunapee Ski Resort (a vail resort) provides skiing and snow shoeing in the winter.
Only a few miles away is the charming town of New London, home to Colby-Sawyer College and full of wonderful dining and shopping options. A 1/2 hour car ride will bring you to Pat’s Peak Ski Resort, Ragged Mountain Ski Area, and the town of Hanover, home to Dartmouth College and a delightful downtown filled with shops and restaurants.
Other Things to Note:
This is a seasonal rental with a one month minimum. A dedicated workspace and 150 Mbps WIFI connection for zoom calls and streaming on multiple devices make this home perfect for remote workers.
A monthly minimum provides flexibility in how you plan your stay. Stay for the entire season and work remotely. Stay for a week or two and come back on the weekends. Take Fridays off and come up for extended weekends. Its your preference!
A monthly boat slip is available upon request for an additional fee and can accomodate up to a 20 foot boat. Boat rentals are available at Goodhue Boat Company.
The house is ideal for mature adults, families and their children. We have neighbors who are full-time residents and we care about ensuring the area remains quiet and peaceful for them. In addition, the town of Sunapee has a noise ordinance in effect between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. Please plan accordingly.
