The Line Runner Lake has many types of fish (catch and release) however the immediate area has many "fishing holes" as well as guided fishing trips. Hiking is one of the best in Western North Carolina. Our county has more than 250 waterfalls.

Please note that when renting Los Pinos, you will need to be conscious of water consumption as the well is older and can have problems replenishing itself in a speedy fashion.

With the added benefit of fiber optic WiFi staying connected is easy, but we encourage you to take a break from the digital world and fully embrace the peace that surrounds you.TV is streaming only - there is a Sonos Arc Sound bar. The kitchen and dining areas both have ceiling speakers, connected to a sonos app. You will be able to play your favorite music from any smartphone or simply ask Sonos to play whatever you're in the mood for.

Step inside the main house, where the open-plan living area flows effortlessly into the dining space, perfect for gathering with loved ones. The large flat-screen TV offers streaming options for your entertainment (just bring your own account details), while the dining table with a view of the lake comfortably seats eight, making it an ideal spot for shared meals and conversations. On this level, you’ll also find two beautifully appointed bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed—each with its own attached full bathroom for added privacy.

The spacious kitchen is a true heart of the home, with generous countertop space and a convenient breakfast bar, perfect for casual bites or morning coffee. Speaking of coffee, the dual drip/Keurig coffee maker is ready to brew your favorite morning blend.

Step out onto the expansive deck, where breathtaking views of the lake await you. With a gas grill, outdoor seating, and a hammock, it’s the ideal place to relax with a book, share a meal, or simply watch the sunset paint the sky in stunning colors.

Just a short walk (about 90 seconds) from the deck, the natural spring-fed lake at the top of the mountain invites you to explore its tranquil waters. Whether you choose to kayak, paddle, swim or simply sit by the water’s edge, the natural beauty will surely inspire a sense of peace. In the evening, gather around the large wood-burning fire pit and let the crackling flames set the stage for unforgettable moments under the stars.

Upon returning to the house, there is an outside shower located at the door from the deck to the mudroom. Also on the deck you'll find a hammock to doze the afternoon away.

The upper level is home to a private king bedroom, with an additional half-bathroom (toilet and sink) for convenience. This spacious floor also features a play area where kids can enjoy themselves, and there are two portable cots available for infants as well as a King sleeper sofa with lake views.
