Charming 2-bedroom cottage with WiFi and AC in fabulous Phoenicia

We love the tiny neighborhood and its sense of safety and community. People are friendly and the fishing is good. The Esopus creek is a quick walk from the cottage and is a destination for fly fishing enthusiasts. Abundant wildlife includes bald eagles, black bears , foxes and deer, which are often seen by the creek. Nights are peaceful and stars are plentiful just sitting out on the deck. Barred owl and screech owl calls can often be heard in the nighttime.
The proximity to Belleayre, Hunter and Platekill ski areas is between 10-30 minutes depending on which mountain you prefer. the cottage is closest to Belleayre which has an enclosed high speed gondola.
The nearby Emerson Resort and Spa offers a myriad of treatments for wellness and rejuvenation as well as a restaurant, shops and the worlds biggest kaleidoscope.
Hiking trails abound, from the Tan Bark Trail in Phoenicia itself or the Mt Tremper fire tower trail, just outside of town. Giant Ledge and Kaaterskill Falls are two magnificent hikes that are a quick drive away.
