NOTE: Lake levels vary throughout the year and, when low during the cooler months, motorized boats cannot reach our dock. In the summer (between May 1 and Sept 8), the lake is at full depth and bringing motorized boats to our dock is no problem at all.

You can launch one of our provided kayaks and explore the lake inlets in tranquility, or simply cast a line and fish from the dock. The deck seats 14 for outdoor dining plus a BBQ grill perfect for grilling burgers or juicy steaks for all to enjoy.

The great outdoors are right at your doorstep, and you’ll have easy access to endless outdoor fun during your stay. Our home is also within easy reach of the Carolina Raptor Center, the Charlotte Motor Speedway, and other local attractions. Downtown Charlotte is a mere 50-minute drive, while a two-hour trip takes you to Asheville for a delightful day of exploration.

✔ Lake Norman State Park: Lake Norman State Park is located just a 40-minute drive from our home and offers a variety of outdoor activities for families and couples. Visitors can go fishing, boating, hiking, biking, or take a relaxing picnic by the lake.

✔ Two Zoos: The Lake Norman area is lucky to have zoos nearby: Zootastic Park (Troutman) Lazy 5 Ranch (Mooresville). Both offer the chance to get close to animals and experience them in ways you couldn`t otherwise. Great for smaller kids!

✔ Carrigan Farms: This is a popular destination for families. Visitors can pick their own apples, enjoy fresh cider, and take a hayride through the orchard. The orchard also features a pumpkin patch and a quarry for cooling off.

✹ GENERAL: Guests can enjoy full access to the entire home and outdoor area.

✹ PARKING: Free parking is available for 4 vehicles in the large driveway.

✹ Wi-Fi/INTERNET: We offer free, high-speed internet on the property.

✹ FAMILY: Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a few supplies, including a Pack & Play/travel crib and a high chair.

✹ PETS: A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed with a $150 one-time pet fee. This is a pet-friendly property, so please do not book if someone in your group has a pet allergy.

✹ WATERCRAFT: We have two (2) one-person kayaks available for guest use. We also have life jackets of various sizes from adult to small child.

✹ DOCK: Our private dock is great for those that love the water! For boaters, please note (a) there isn`t any electricity on the dock, (b) the boat lift is not operational, and (c) the water depth can vary greatly based on the lake water level (usually deepest during the summer), (d) we cannot guarantee that the dock can accommodate your specific boat. If you have questions, please ask.

✹ RENTAL AGREEMENT: Please note that we do require signature of our rental agreement/liability waiver within 48 hours after booking.

✹ TWO PAYMENTS: If your booking date is within 30 days of check-in, you will receive one charge reflecting 100% of the reservation amount. However, in order to ease the process of securing our stay more than 30 days from check-in, we will divide up you purchase into two payments. 40% will be charged immediately and 60% will be charged 30 days prior to check-in. Both charges will be from LAKE.RENTAL.HOME.

✹ ID VERIFICATION: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

✹ CANCELLATIONS: If the guest cancels the booking and is entitled to a return, the return will be reduced by 4% as we have to pay the processing fees regardless.

We have one actively recording Ring doorbell camera outside that records video and audio. There is also a smart home device on the back deck and firepit areas which actively record noise decibel levels only. They do not record audio or video.
