Guests will have access to every space within the haven and every corner of the 2.5 acres of land.

The Neighborhood:
The Haven is located in the Monument Manor region of Joshua Tree. 1.6 miles from the west park entrance and minutes from town.

Getting Around:
We recommend that you bring a vehicle, as ride share drivers are few and far between.

Other Things to Note:
In booking this listing, guests agree to all below requirements.

*POOL HEATING: The pool can be heated for your stay for an additional $400 per day. This fee goes directly to propane, which the entire house runs off. Please make a note if you wish to include this in your booking. In the warmer months, additional heating is not necessary.

*POOL COVER: Please make sure to close the pool cover whenever the pool is not actively in use. The desert winds blow a lot of dirt into the pool, which will destroy our filtration system and we want to protect out animal neighbors! Pool covers left open while not in use, could incur an additional cleaning fee.

*PETS: Pets are welcome only with pre-approval and an additional $100 pet fee

*PHOTO & VIDEO SHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees. Please enquire if you have a shoot planned. We are excited & happy to accommodate creatives.

*CLIMBING GUIDE: Joshua Tree is home to some of the best climbing on this gorgeous planet, whether you are a veteran crusher or a newbie, we would be happy to connect you with a wonderful local guide who'd be happy to take you out for a desert adventure at an additional fee.

*ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

*GAS USE: While we encourage the use of our outdoor fire feature, please be conservative with gas usage. The feature is operational with a timing system. Please do not extend beyond it. The Haven runs entirely off of a propane tank and we'd hate for you to run out during your stay!

*UNREGISTERED GUESTS: Unfortunately, we are unable to host unregistered guests at the haven, and head count should not exceed 4. If you would like to invite a friend or two over for lunch or a swim, this must be requested and approved by host ahead of time.

*RELEASE AND WAIVER OF RELIABILITY: By making your reservation you and the other members in your party as THE GUESTS agree to release THE HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility, relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You understand that the property is immersed in nature and that wildlife is a part of the experience, including encounters with snakes and coyotes. You also understand that using the pool, hot tub, hiking and climbing anywhere on the property is at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising while on the property and hold owner harmless.
