The listing does not advertise a traditional range stovetop; it clearly notes and shows a NuWave induction cooktop, which was available and fully functional during your stay. Regarding heating, the cabin is equipped with multiple heaters, including a fireplace-style space heater as the primary heat source. All heaters were fully functional before and after your visit, and the interior temperature was approximately 73 degrees at both check-in and check-out. During your stay, outside temperatures dropped to around 12 degrees, and an additional portable heater was provided as a backup option. As for the water, the cabin uses well water, which is common for rural properties. The system is equipped with multiple filtration stages, and the water is safe for use. Guests who are not accustomed to well water may occasionally notice a mild odor when hot water is first run, which dissipates quickly and does not indicate a water quality issue. If any concerns had been raised during your stay, I would have been happy to address them in real time. Guest comfort is important to me, and I always encourage communication so issues can be resolved promptly. I appreciate you choosing to stay at the cabin and wish you the best going forward.

HiJennifer, thank you for your feedback. For clarity, the cabin is located at the back of a two-acre property and is not directly behind the main home. During your stay, multiple undisclosed and unsupervised animals were found inside the unit (including a cat), along with damage to interior items. Because the home is advertised as no-pets due to allergy and sanitation requirements, we had to involve VRBO support to resolve the situation and follow their exact guidance for a supervised checkout and extensive cleaning for sanitation of dander and pet mess left in the space. We always aim to handle concerns professionally and wish you the best going forward.
