Rustic Valley/ TN River-Kentucky Lake Retreat. Sleeps 8.

Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy Tennessee at its finest. This beautiful home sits on 7.5 acres and is located just one mile from the Tennessee River /Cuba Landing Marina. Launch your boat or get a rental and go fishing and boating for the day. This property is close to off-road trails for UTV's, Jeeps and dirt bikes. There are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby to take in the beauty that West Tennessee has to offer. Along with kayaking and canoeing we also have several state parks and miles of forestry to explore. Loretta Lynn's ranch is approximately 15 miles from the property and although it states that it is further on the map section of VRBO.... Ignore that please it is quite close to the property and a beautiful attraction to visit. There is history in Humphrey County that begs your exploration. Surrounding towns up to an hour away are fun day expeditions to partake in and if you want more of fast-pace day than hop on I-40 to take an hour drive to Nashville or go west to Memphis which is an 1.5 hour drive. This unique property offers a very relaxing atmosphere. Hang out in the oversized living room play games, darts or watch TV. Enjoy the patio and spacious area that has an indoor outdoor feel when you roll up the garage door near the kitchen bar area. Our primary home has two bedrooms. Bedroom one hosts a queen bed. Bedroom two has a queen bed in addition to a full size sofa sleeper that sleeps two. The common area has a comfy Queen sofa sleeper for more humans to rest their heads. In addition to this property there is an adorable home out back that we refer to as the Chicken Coop Cottage. NOTE: FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER THRU APRIL... ONLY THE MAIN HOUSE IS AVAILABLE. TOTAL OF 8 PEOPLE FOR THE MAIN HOUSE This little cottage sleeps two has a comfy queen bed, full kitchen and quaint living room area that is inviting and quiet for those wanting to get away from it all. Don't forget to spend some time on the beautifully covered porch or in the cute reading sunroom out back. Relax and enjoy family time around the fire. This place has it all. All you need to do is come and be blessed by this treasure.

Do not stay

Check in was easy. Place was not clean. Dead bugs everywhere, live maggots crawling on the floor, mouse poop everywhere. Not a single surface wiped down. And the last people in there were the owners.

Sorry you did not have a nice stay. I also believe it was a very rainy week for you all. You can obviously tell from the pictures and property that we take very good care of our home. It's unfortunate that you are the ONLY one who gave a bad review. But we cannot please everyone for whatever reason that may be. Spring we do have those Lady beetles and we spray professionally on a monthly basis.
