The Serene Farm Life...without all the work! Lots of space and privacy!

Come enjoy a stay at Springwood Farmstead! A working farm with a circa 1820 farmhouse, but with modern conveniences. Total privacy with multiple barns and grounds for a quiet stay. The house features four porches and a patio for outdoor relaxing, as well as grounds for outdoor fun. Grounds include a firepit, horseshoes, and space for much more. The historic home features five bedrooms, three of which have a private bath. A library with a daybed and a pullout/popup trundle is also featured. As well as an additional full and a half bath. Private baths are located in the two king size rooms as well as one of the queen rooms. The dining area can seat up to 18 people. And you will find a coffee bar on both levels of the home. The home is equipped with high speed internet as well as three smart TVs. This is a working small beef operation, we check our cattle daily, and feed as necessary. We will make every effort to be discrete and minimize any interruptions to your stay.

The kitchen was very well appointed, all major appliances and many extras included. Two coffee stations. The property was fabulous with plenty of things to explore and the hosts were extremely friendly and very accommodating. This is a quiet rustic property great for large family gatherings. I can't say enough positive things about the whole experience.

It was a beautiful home in a beautiful place. It took me back to my childhood. I felt like I was back for a visit at my grandma's house. The hosts had thought of everything, even for the youngest in our group. Very family friendly

This gorgeous farmhouse is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything. I cannot think of one thing they didn’t do from the chargers next to all the beds to the full bags of ice and fresh eggs in the fridge and freezer. It is an experience to stay here. The interior design is beautiful. We stayed here for my son’s VT graduation. Highly recommend!

This was a truly 10/10 stay for us. Absolutely stunning house and views. Nothing beat drinking coffee on the front porch with a view of rolling hills and cows. The host was extremely helpful and generous. We hope to come back in the future for another amazing trip.

Incredible, and the vie

We had an amazing stay, this home goes above and beyond to meet all your needs, many before you even know what you need! The home is gorgeous, with space for everyone to sleep, relax, eat and enjoy the view. We loved sitting in all the porches and enjoying the views, usually with a freshly brewed coffee or tea. We stayed here for our son’s VMI graduation, and I would recommend this location to anyone with an event in the area.

Our stay was short but absolutely wonderful! We could tell that every detail in the house was well thought out. There were so many bedrooms and bathrooms so we all had plenty of space. We had an abundance of soft towels and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and more! We will be looking for a reason to go back to the area just to stay there again

What a treasure of a place! The house was perfect for our family of 11 with plenty of space for everyone! We enjoyed dinner and games around the massive kitchen table before relaxing around the firepit and taking in the peace of country living. At any given time, you would find someone on one of the 4 porches, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Angie was an amazing host, with thoughtful touches everywhere! It was hard to leave this oasis but we know we'll be back!!!
