SAFETY & SECURITY POLICIES
1. Strict no-tolerance policy: Parties, intoxicated behavior, illegal substances, marijuana use, and smoking inside the property are prohibited. Cigarette smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
2. All doors and gates must remain closed and secured at all times. Entry codes may not be shared with anyone, including delivery personnel.
3. Appliances must not be left unattended while in operation (including but not limited to stoves and irons).
MAINTENANCE & PLUMBING
1. Garbage disposals are not designed for oil, bones, or food waste. Dispose of these items in the trash.
2. Toilets may only be used for toilet paper. Flushing other materials may result in plumbing damage.
3. Any damage, leaks, or operational issues must be reported promptly.
SHARED-SPACE ETIQUETTE
1. Guests are expected to maintain a respectful living environment. Quiet hours are observed from 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
2. Doors should be closed quietly, particularly during quiet hours.
3. Pets and additional occupants are not permitted without prior authorization.
4. Illegal downloading or streaming of copyrighted content using the property’s internet service is prohibited and may result in penalties from the service provider.
5. Heating, cooling, lighting, and electronic devices must be turned off when not in use or when leaving the property.
6. Laundry must be removed promptly after use.
7. Shared areas (kitchen, bathrooms, and common spaces) must be cleaned immediately after use.
8. Personal belongings must be kept within designated areas. Use of other guests’ property without permission is not allowed.
9. Furniture, appliances, and household items must be used responsibly and returned to their original condition and location.
10. Utilities such as water and electricity must be used responsibly.
11. Strong or lingering cooking odors late at night should be avoided.
12. All occupants are expected to comply fully with house policies.
