For those combining leisure with business, a dedicated workspace is available.
Descend a few steps to find an efficient kitchen, armed with a mini fridge/freezer, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and range cooktop. From preparing a quick breakfast to a romantic dinner, we've got you covered with an array of utensils, cups, and plates.
The outdoor space is a delightful two-tiered oasis. The turf-covered decks invite you to try your hand at fishing or simply bask in the serenity of the lake. The upper level has two lounge chairs, perfect for absorbing a book or soaking in the panoramic lake vistas. Don't fret about unpredictable weather - the boat resides under cover to ensure you remain undisturbed come rain or shine.
Savor your morning coffee as the sun rises over tranquil waters, and unwind with a sunset cocktail. Bring along your kayak or fishing gear to explore the lake’s beauty.
Just 20 miles northwest of Fort Worth, this retreat offers easy access from the DFW metroplex.
Please note: The boat remains docked and does not leave its slip. Space is cozy but comfortable for a houseboat.

You should actually change lock codes after every stay. Others living on the dock knew our entry code. Made us a little uneasy when we had to leave the boat. Also wonder what goes on when no one there

Personal floating getaway

The boat and cabin were very nice, the boat had old-school charm, and had a certain kitsch to it. It was a fantastic spot to watch the fireworks on the 4th!

Sweet stay on a boat!

I had a great time getting to be free of my on- land life and got to enjoy the serene lake life for a vacation. The host was very accommodating and easily reached. A different kind of rental, i loved it. I will be booking here again.

Wish the a/c would have been turned on before we arrived, it took 12hrs to cool down the boat.

Cute place. But we couldn't enjoy our 1st night because it was so hot. The A/C should have been turned on before the guests arrives.

Super fun stay!

The boat was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The weather did not lend to much fishing which was disappointing but only Mother Nature’s fault. The restaurant/bar on the property was wonderful. I highly recommend checking that out. The host was easy to communicate with and was so helpful with any questions we had!!!

Rainy weekend getaway

We had originally planned on canceling due to severe weather warnings but we went ahead and made it and it turned into a charming weekend. It was a bit cold and rainy outside but we managed to stay warm inside and had a relaxing intimate couple of days away from distractions.I would definitely do it again. Maybe this time when the weather is warmer.

super cute and cozy!

i really enjoyed staying here! the gentle rocking of the boat soothes you right to sleep at night, and the view from the “porch” was beautiful. i had fun fishing and hearing music in the early evening from the blutooth speakers in and outside of the boat. i will say, i did prefer the public bathroom to the one in the boat, but it wasn’t a nightmare. the wifi was a bit shakey but its a good thing i travel with my own hotspot! definitely a great place to stay! it says it sleeps three but i think it was perfect for just me. i plan to come hack for a longer trip next time!

Such a great visit. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This little houseboat was so cute. Everything worked as expected. It was so romantic to be able to sit on the back of the boat and fish all night with my wife. Everything was perfect. Everyone we meet was so nice. If I had only one recommendation if you stay on this boat, take you a bed topper or something, it wasn’t a very thick mattress. The second night we slept a lot better. But we will definitely be back. I think this is going to be a favorite place to spend time and making memories. Also added note, if the boats bathroom is too small, the property does have a 24 hr showers and restrooms just up the hill. We can’t wait to come back!

The ac did not work well. The day it rained the ac was great. But the day we got there it never cooled off, and the day the temp reached 90 it got to hot to handle. It also was not fully stocked . No knoves to cut a steak. No salt and pepper. Only 1 pan and 1 pot.On the other hand it was very nice sitting on the back deck and watching the rain while fishing.

Took Money - Zero Communication

We booked here and had a family emergency we needed to take care so we requested to move the date of our stay. Zero response from this person and just took our money without even so much as an apology. I would never stay here based off this greedy owner.

Property has great potential, but fell short because of two key factors. Poor AC in hot Texas weather and boat cleanliness. Original boat AC did not work. Owner installed window unit and small unit near bed. Small unit did not blow cold air only heat. Window unit could not keep boat cool. So unfortunately, we were hot the whole trip. Exterior offered a few deck options. But these had not been cleaned. They were dusty and covered with spider webbs. Expectation is not to have to clean before enjoying amenities on vacation. A simple spray down could have solved issued. Restaurant and store close by was great. Bed was super comfy. Kitchen had minimal items. So we went out to eat entire trip.

Fantastic Host! Perfect weekend!

Fantasic host who responded quickly to an inquiry about a check in with little notice for day of. Other properties that we reached out to quickly said, no, because of the little notice. He made sure the house was quickly cleaned and sanatized, ready for our arrival. We loved this property's location at West Bay Marina! The houseboat was perfect! We loved the projector and Roku tv over the bed. The decore was cute, especially the disco ball! The sitting area with the wooden fence is perfect for a little extra privacy if you're looking for that. There is also a BBQ restaurant within walking distance.that serves great food, including breakfast. The itrip included my daughter and one year old grand-daughter. Highly recommend
