Selah means Heaven On Earth! This is truly Heaven on Earth. This beautiful lodge was re-modeled in 2022. It has 4 King Suites with private bathrooms, 1 Queen Suite with bathroom, and a bunk room with full bath. Each bedroom comes with Large windows to take in the outdoor views! There is a billiards room with pool table, huge dining table table for large group meals, and the most beautiful wrap around balcony with breathtaking views of Lake O' The Pines. There is a playroom for kids, with air hockey table & dvd player! The back porch is a favorite spot, with four large rocking chairs! The lodge has 2 Refrigerators, a freezer, washer & dryer, outdoor grill, TV's in every room with Direct TV, Wifi, & More! At Selah, you can escape on 170 acres of private property. The property features two private ponds, trails to walk/ride, and a breathtaking hilltop with views all across East Texas. On most days you will see Deer everywhere! The property has over 1000 feet of Lake O' The Pines frontage!

We had an amazingly, blessed time with family!! The house is a dream, the property is beyond your wildest expectations! When I say this place is BLESSED, I am not exaggerating!! The name says it all! “SELAH”. The owners have anticipated everything you might need or want while you’re there! We had all of our grown children and13 grandchildren there with us and we never felt cramped or crowded! My sister and a cousins family rented two other houses on the property and we had a blast together! We cooked all the meals there, and the kitchen is a cooks dream! The beds were so comfy and each room is thoughtfully decorated! Each room has its own ac unit! Check in is a breeze!! I could go on and on about how much our family loved and enjoyed this place! The owners are fabulous!!!!!!!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Memorial Day 2025

We enjoyed the house. We had 20 ppl Adults down to 3 yr old. Peace and quiet. Jay was always quick reach and agreed to renting his side by side; everyone had a blast.

Family Reunion

Selah is midpoint between Tulsa and Baton Rouge so it was easy to get away for the weekend. We loved the waterfront views, the wildlife and how peaceful and relaxing it was. We had plenty of space for 11 people. We were also able to easily make it to town for tours, shopping, museums and eating. Great time! Thanks Jay!

Lake O the Pines

"Selah" means to "stop and listen". The property is well-named...simply wonderful. We enjoyed lake views & walks amongst the deer. The home is just as advertised. The rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom. The floorplan is conducive to multifamily/multi-ages. We had several dads and college fishermen and I never heard their early a.m. departures. The main-floor bunkroom was convenient for the team boys. We didn't utilize any of the fun stuff--there is a game room, a kids' play room and lake fun with floats and toys. The house clearly was set up for all ages of fun and respite. As shared, it was all fishing for us. The driveway housed several boats and offered ample room to maneuver.The well-stocked kitchen and laundry room fridge was convenient for me to keep everyone fed. There aren't many amenities close by but I suspect that anyone selecting this property is seeking peace and privacy. Longview is about 30 minutes away & there's a Costco right off the interstate from Dallas. The 2 refrigerators housed breakfast, lunch and dinner for 7 days for 9 people! There's a fabulous grill, too. And the table, oh, the table...just you wait! Gather all!Communication with the owner, Jay, was speedy and pleasant. Someone is nearby to help with any issues--not that there was anything wrong with the house, but we did have a water spicket mishap and inclement weather while we were there. Jay helped us through it all.HIGHLY recommended. Selah

Fantastic family getaway

This was a wonderful property for our extended family getaway. The house sits on a huge amount of land behind a private gate right at the lake. Beautiful property with deer all around and of course lots of pine trees. The house has been remodeled with large groups in mind. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. There’s tons of space for visiting and game playing. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you would need plus two ovens and two refrigerators. The property owner was very responsive to the few questions we had before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this house and would love to stay again.
