A 170 metros cuadrados. villa de lujo en el centro de la zona de círculo de oro (Gullfoss Geysir y 20 minutos). Una oportunidad única de experimentar la parte sur de Islandia en un barrio tranquilo y amigable niño.

Una hermosa casa nueva con una magnífica vista sobre el río Hvítá en un pequeño pueblo de efecto invernadero, Laugarás, en el centro de la zona del Círculo Dorado.

Gran salón y comedor, cocina totalmente equipada (lavavajillas), dos cuartos de baño con ducha. Cuatro dormitorios (dos para 2 personas y dos para 3 personas). También un lavadero con una lavadora y una secadora.

Gran terraza cubierta con una gran vista, barbacoa, muebles de jardín y una bañera de hidromasaje.

Está disponible durante todo el año para los viajeros. Ofrecemos gratuito a Internet Wi-Fi y una pantalla plana de televisión. Hay plazas de aparcamiento para 4 coches. Se incluyen en nuestro precio son la ropa de cama, toallas, impuestos y limpieza final.

La casa también es perfecto para excursiones de un día a Reikiavik, al localizarse tan bien situado a sólo 1 hora en coche de la capital.

La casa está en un paraje natural, frente a un río, y en su interior no le falta detalle.

Casa que sorprende por su calidad. Dispone de todo tipo de equipamiento de la mejor calidad y nuevo. Es amplia, luminosa, limpia. En fin , un diez. ( Que diferencia con España, cuando alquilas algo en la playa, q cuesta un paston, y t encuentras la nevera amarillenta de 20 años que el dueño retiro de su casa de la ciudad, el tv viejo y un colchón imposible)

This was the PERFECT place for our group of 9! The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was both well-appointed and stocked with basics (spices/salt/pepper etc.). The beautiful location gave us great access to everything we could hope to see on our too-short trip to Iceland, and the view of the Aurora from the house’s back deck is going to go down as one of our family’s best ever memories. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house and magical country with us!!

Incredible stay in the heart of the Golden Circle

This vacation rental exceeded all our expectations. The property was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped/stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, secluded enough for peace and quiet, yet close to stunning attractions. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and made check-in/out a breeze. Beautiful location and house

Great base for rafting, horseback riding, all of the Golden Circle activities. The house itself was absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the river. The hosts were very kind, particularly when we couldn't locate the key box upon arrival. We'd love to stay here again on a future trip to Iceland!

Great stay

The house was as described and had everything we needed. It was spacious and accommodated our group of 6 very well. We did have a need and it was taken care of immediately by the property owners. We even were able to see the northern lights a couple days!

Amazing rental property

Beautiful home with lots of room- myself and 4 kids (all adults) plenty of room - near lots of sightseeing locations- on the last night we saw the northern lights from the hot tub - 40 minutes of a spectacular light show. This was the best rental I have ever booked through VRBO - the views are awesome- beds were very comfortable - equipped with every kitchen item you will need - only suggestion would be a few more ice cube trays - loved our stay in Iceland - thank you!!

Gorgeous place for a group

We were traveling with two kids and two grandparents, and everyone absolutely loved this house. The view was amazing, so much light in all the rooms. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. It was perfect!

Brilliant brilliant brilliant!

The place was fantastic, both in terms of the property and how beautiful it is and how well-equipped and clean it is, but also the location is excellent. The property overlooks the lake and is in the middle of the golden circle, closer to all the attractions. The hot tub was a highlight, and we could see the northern lights from the villa which was incredible! we even had the opportunity to watch the lights while sitting in the hot tub! Everything was perfect and communication with Borkur and Elin was great! A must-stay indeed! Thanks to our hosts!

Best place for a group visit in iceland

We had some amazing views of sunrises in this house and a great/relaxing time in the hot tub that is outside the house. The house is perfectly located as a starting point to visit a lot of places of the golden circle and beyond e.g. just 15min away from the secret lagoon (a must visit!). Everything was very clean and the kitchen was very well equiped. Try to buy groceries either in Selfoss or 7 min away in Reykholt (small grocery store). The neighborhood is very quite. A great place to enjoy some silence outside. The communication with Elin and Borkur was very good. They gave us some good advices what to see around the area . I would highly recommend!! :)

We loved our stay - the house is great, the architecture perfect and we felt immediately at home. We even had a Christmas tree waiting for us. Iceland is just a dream place and we for sure will be back. Elin and Borkur, thank you for the warm welcome in such a beautiful place.

Perfect Home for our Group with Amazing Views!

Due to the timing of our flight arrivals and jet lag, my group was lucky enough to witness two sunrises at this home. Some of the most beautiful views of my life! The home was very clean, had a great layout and the washer/dryer were so handy after some of our outdoor adventures! The home is in a pretty remote area, but it's super close (at least by Icelandic standards) to many of the main Golden Circle sights! It's a great central location! Things that could make it a bit better: another couch in the living space for more seating and washcloths for showers! Thanks again for an amazing stay!

Stunning place stunning location

Easy to find and get to sights on golden circle, good restaurants within 10-15 minute drive. Private within small community and overlooks river with breathtaking views. Everything you would need/want in a place. Good blue tooth speaker and dvd that’s uk compatible too. About 1hr 30 drive from airport but a pleasant drive. Stop en route at Selfoss for groceries us advised to stock up on arrival. Great hot tub that’s always at temperature, good utility and boot room, 2 good shower rooms, 1 being a stunning master en suite. Cannot recommend highly enough! Awesome

Don’t miss out on this place!

This house provided the perfect stay in the Golden Circle area for our family of six. So comfortable, gorgeous views and great amenities. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of exploring the sites. Communication with Borkur and Elin was so easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular Views, Ideally Located, Comfort Plus!

This well-appointed house is in a beautiful setting overlooking the river with expansive country side views everywhere you look. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything required for home cooking, and Elin and Borkur immediately responded to any questions. The hot tub and gas grill were much appreciated.

Rent this house!

Attention all North Americans: Should you choose to go to Iceland, you should rent this home. It is beautiful, well kept, modern, excellent amenities and all the creature comforts that North Americans know and love (Cable, Internet, excellent showers/toilets, sweet kitchen, washer/dryer). The hot tub was wonderful after a long day touring. The house sits on a beautiful river that is suitable for fishing. The location in Laugaras is central to all of the attractions of Southwestern Iceland-Golden Circle, Glaciers, Vik and the beach-you name it. Rent the house. Rent a car. Tour the country yourself. Who wants to be on a stuffy tour bus out of Reykjavik every day? Enjoy nature from a beautiful home.

Perfect location and stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our family time in Iceland. The home for our 6 adult family members was very comfortable in very way but the nicest part of the stay to me was the beautiful view we had and the privacy of the home. We toured the Golden Circle, Thingvellir, took a day exploring along the southern coast and hiked in Landmannalauger. The location allowed us access to a variety of sights in the area. The owner was very accessible and responsive before and during our stay. This first part of our trip in Iceland was hard to beat during The remainder of our stay.

Fabulous house in a stunning location

The house is everything it promises to be from the description above. It is spacious, lovely and warm against Icelandic autumn. The hot tub is nice, the beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. It was very clean, comfortable and well sound proofed (we had one night of heavy wind and rain which you could barely hear - the huge flocks of birds in the river below were surprisingly loud too!). The "river view" description really doesn't do the location justice - you are on a ridge above the river and will enjoy views over huge distances all the way to snow capped peaks in the distance. The sun rises spectacularly in front of you and, at night, you can watch the Northern Lights. A great location for touring too - just outside Skálholt, half an hour from Gulfoss and Geysir, 45 minutes from Þingvellir and an hour and a half from Reykjavik or the South Coast sights near Sólheimajökull.

Fint och välutrustat hus

Väldigt fint och välutrustat hus nära den gyllene cirkeln. Helt ok läge för att ta sig till olika aktiviteter med bil. Vacker utsikt över en liten sjö. Härligt spabad. Sköna sängar och täcken. Skulle gärna komma tillbaka.

Beautiful, spacious home with lovely views and helpful owners

We were a family of 10 in Iceland for a week-long family reunion, and we are happy to say that everything about the home and surrounding area lived up to our expectations. The property itself was exactly as it appeared in the photos, with four comfortable bedrooms and a large open living room area. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked, and very helpful for breakfasts and dinners for our large family. We also loved using the the grill, hot tub and outside patio area in the evenings. Regarding the surrounding area, the pictures truly do not do the land justice - the geography is spectacular with a river in the backyard (and a natural hot spring only a short walk downstream!), views of nearby mountains, and also the volcano Hekla in the distance. Right in front of the house is a quaint small horse farm where you can see animals grazing during the day. The location worked great for us, as it was very convenient for easter attractions on the golden circle, and only a ~90 min drive back to Reykjavik / Keflavik for other attractions by those cities. We also managed to do a day trip to Vatnajökull national park and Vik. It was also nice to have such a relatively quiet area to go home to each night, and with less light pollution to see the stars. On our last night in mid-August, we were extremely lucky to catch an early glimpse of the Northern Lights. The owners Borkur and Elin were very helpful with many of the logistical aspects of our trip, including directions, advice on groceries and food, and tips on what to see near the house. We would highly recommend the home for people looking to stay outside of the city and experience the suburban side of Iceland.

Golden Circle Villas is a family owned company, established in 2014, that owns three villas in the South region of Iceland. The villas are located in a small greenhouse village, Laugarás, 3 km from the historical place, Skálholt Cathedral. The villas are all new or newly renovated. Two of the villas can accommodate 10 persons each and the third villa can accommodate 6-7 persons. The villas are rented seperately but it is ideal for larger groups to rent the villas all together as they have space for up to 27 persons. All our villas are located within 100 meters distance from each other.

We choose this location because of the short distance to Reykjavík and all the other attractions in the surrounding neighbourhood. This house is so beautiful and is located on the riverbank of Hvítá.
