Comfortable home situated perfectly on the beach. We liked that it felt remote, but the drive to town was a short one. This was a perfect home base for our discovery of Door County.

We've stayed at this house for a few years now, and we continue to come back. Nothing beats the lake views and walks on the beach.

Could not beat the view! We came needing to relax from helping our daughter move. Great having such an awesome close beach. Enjoyed the grill and sitting around the fire pit making s’mores, and morning coffee on the deck. Granddaughter had plenty of room to play. A couple of issues the owners needed to take care of but when they do, it will be awesome.

Very nice property, right on the beach, great view of the lake. The native grasses that extend from the home to the beach gives you the feel of South Carolina. The home itself is fairly modern with a really nice floor plan and the windows offer a GREAT lake view. The property is large with a lot of beach front and very private and quiet. There are trees to the north, south, and west of the home, but the beach view is unobstructed. The unit had everything we needed. We really don't have any complaints and would recommend this home to anyone. Also, it's VERY easy to get to downtown Sturgeon Bay.

Lovely view, well maintained, nice home. Our family enjoyed the visit tremendously. We have been visiting the area for nearly 40 years. This is our second visit to this property and would return in the future.

Perfect location

We have stayed here a few times before, and my brother and his family have booked it for next year. We vacation in DC each summer and have a lot of family that stays nearby, so we love the convenience of being able to walk to each other's rentals. We love the location and the property. One of the best beaches along that whole stretch and so much privacy, it can't be beat. The only bad thing that happened was that I broke a nail on the lockbox trying to get it open! Thanks again!

Perfect fall vacation

Have been to this property multiple times with our family and it never disappoints. The space is beautiful inside and out. We spent a lot of time on the private beach and felt we had everything we needed for our stay. We love how spacious everything feels with the tall living room windows looking out onto the lake. Morning sunrises were the best. Would definitely recommend staying here, it is unforgettable.

Beautiful beach house on a beautiful beach

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house. It is incredibly comfortable, well laid-out, and has plenty of room for everyone. It is on the best beach in Sturgeon Bay in my opinion. There are games to play, and room to relax. I already booked it again next year.

Wonderful annual friends vacation.

Very nice home. Everything we needed was available. Close to do fun activities. We went on a wine tour and went charter boat fishing. Did a little shopping. We only had a couple of nice days for the beach, but watching the lake view was amazing.

A little piece of paradise

The moment we entered the driveway, we were impressed by the house. Later....even more pleased by the beach. There were a few small issues, but I left a note regarding them for the owners. Overall it was a very pleasant week's stay! Even the weather cooperated except for one rainy day :)

Great location/setting

We came up for a family vacation/ second marriage ceremony. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to be. Great setting, room enough for everyone. Rented paddle boards for a day and water was like glass. Another day made a trip to sister bay to rent pontoon boat and tuned, good times. We hope to return sometime, maybe a fall trip for colors. Would highly recommend this rental. Thank you again Mansfield-Lambert family

Week with friends

This was a time to get together with friends. The photos did not give this house justice. It is within 50 feet of the lake. The house was well stocked for cooking, relaxing with books and hard fought euchre games..... it even got wam enough for a quick swim in the lake

Wonderful location

We loved staying at this home and have stayed there before. Great location for us since we have family in nearby rentals. I only gave the accuracy of listing four stars because I think the check in time was different in the notes than in the listing, so we had to confirm. There was also confusion about if linens were provided because I think one place says they are and other says they’re not. At any rate, we cleared it up. Minor issue. We will be renting again!

A trip to Target

Nice home with a perfect Lake Michigan beach location....we enjoyed our stay. A word of warning; the owner does not provide bed linens or towels. This is NOT mentioned in their listing on the VRBO site, but is the first thing mentioned in the rental agreement...we missed it, so off to Target. Either bring linens or be prepared to shop. Check the bed sizes beforehand...they are a mixed bag.

Great location and stellar setting

Our favorite things about this property included the beautiful setting right on the water with beach access and stunning sunsets. It was easy to get where we wanted to go and the amenities were nice. Some things that could have been improved were that the internet is controlled by a light switch that had been turned off so, when we arrived, there was no wifi or phone. The cell service is also very poor, which was not unique to this property, but common on the peninsula. We had to figure out the light switch problem on our own, as the manager did not know it was controlled this way. There was mold above the shower in a bathroom and there were no clear check-out instructions that so we had to guess how we were to leave the property. We were asked to sign the guest book but it had been full for the past several months. The directions to get to the property were also challenging because the address did not come up on Google Maps so we could have used more detailed instructions. Despite these things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the peninsula itself!

Great Girls' Trip

We loved this property!. The lake is right outside the door. We enjoyed watching the lake both from the deck/shore and from inside the house with the large windows. It was quite comfortable for our party of 6 ladies - the beds were comfortable. Plenty of TP in the baths but no paper towels or kitchen towels. the location is convenient to all the towns on the Door Peninsula. The house was clean except for some of the kitchen pots and pans. We did plenty of cooking and spent evenings relaxing in the comfortable living room. Would rent again.

Our family has been visiting Door County every fall, and some winters for the past 26 years. We fell in love with the gorgeous views and all the activities that the peninsula has to offer. From the changing of the leaves, to sledding and cross-country skiing in the winter, bike riding, sun-rises/sun-sets, boating/fishing on Lake Michigan, and the amazing local food...
It has been my dream for years to own a vacation home that I can enjoy with my family for many more years to come. I am glad to share a piece of my family's dream with all of you!!
