We stayed at this property for a trip to Carowinds, and the location truly couldn’t be better—very convenient and close to everything we needed. The home itself is spacious, which was great for our group, but it does feel quite dated and could use some updates. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard. One of the outlets in the main bedroom looked burnt, there was a cobweb hanging over the bed, and the drawer handles were dusty. In the main bathroom, we had to clean the shower ourselves before using it, and the toilet was left dirty. The second bathroom also had dirt and hair in the tub, as well as hair on the door. Even though the rental is pet friendly, the furniture and bedding should not be full of hairs—it made the space feel unkempt. It almost felt as if someone had been living there and left right before we arrived, which was disappointing. I messaged the host with these concerns but received no response, which added to the frustration. For now, I would not book again nor recommend this place. With better cleaning, more attentive hosting, and some updates, this property could be a fantastic stay given its size and location.
