Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, this is the ideal spot for your next vacation.

For the winter months there are snowmobile trails right outside your door, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing all at Crystal Mountain.

For the warmer months there are so many activities at your fingertips. Biking, hiking, and alpine slide at Crystal Mountain. Frankfort a short 20 minute drive offers great downtown shopping, Lake Michigan beaches, E-biking, tubing/kayaking Platte River, hiking Empire Bluff trail, and great restaurants. Golf lovers dream spot with SIX golf courses within 20 miles. Crystal Mountain Mountain Ridge and Crystal Mountains Betsie Valley, Arcadia Bluffs, Pine Croft, Crystal Lake Golf Course, and Champion Hill.

The place was very nice and clean. My favorite things were the nice big new deck, the A/C, the firepit, and that they had alot of things like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, etc even though we brought our own also. My husband and son loved the sauna. Place is 5 star and nice location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Scott’s cozy cottage. The property and scenery were beautiful and the cottage had everything we needed for 2 families with school aged children. The kids loved the bunk room and games and the adults enjoyed how large and nice the space was, especially the kitchen! It’s also extremely close to Crystal mountain which made skiing very convenient! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

This place was perfectly located to crystal mountain and had all the cozy cabin vibes to accentuate a ski weekend. It’s super beautiful and peaceful after a snowfall. The place was warm and had good places for the family to gather. Super clean and thoughtfully appointed (forever grateful for them having dog food and water bowls- you always forget something). Would love to stay again. Thanks for having us

Perfect family getaway!

This up north cottage is so adorable. The interior decorations are so cute. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The location is 5 minutes to Crystal for skiing. The kids guest room upstairs is so fun! My boys loved the nook sleeping. We just loved our time. We will definitely return.

This is one of those reviews you hate to leave. Not due to the experience or cleanliness of the property; but rather, because of how great this property and location truly is! My family and I have been visiting Northern Michigan for many years and this property is by far one of our favorites. Scott was more than accommodating and the house, location, was everything we needed. We even got lucky in catching some fish out in the river!All in all, this was a great trip and experience. While we will certainly be back, we too, will be sharing with others this wonderful property!
