Villa With Large Terrace

The villa has 2 double bedrooms and 2 ensuites.1 kitchen, 1 living/dining room. The cottage next door is closed and uninhabited so you have complete privacy. There is a 130 sq terrace and summer kitchen with stainless steel bbq and sink. The views are beautiful from all areas of the property overlooking the adriatic islands of Brac and Hvar and the dalmatian coastline. The property is located in an ancient village called Gornja Podgora surrounding the property are olive groves, fig trees and hiking trails. The property is a 4 minute drive down to the seaside village of Podgora which boasts beautiful pebble beaches, a range of water activities and restaurants. The property is a two and a half hour drive to the city of Dubrovnik, and a 7 minute drive to the town of Makarska where you can get a car ferry to the island of Brac. The property gives you the feeling of privacy and the views of the surrounding ancient stone ruins are amazing.

Amazing Villa!

We loved staying here. The views are unbeatable, home very comfortable and well stocked. Communication with the owner was great, he responded to our inquiry immediately. We enjoyed the pool and the outside area tremendously, the only thing we missed was a bit more shade. There were a few beach umbrellas, but most were broken, and there was only one umbrella by the pool. Overall a great stay!

Lovely Place

A beautiful house with a great view and everything you could ask for. The bedrooms are very spacious - both (just the main house) with their own bathroom and outdoor seating area. The pool and the rest of the outdoor area invite you to spend long evenings outside with a magnificent view over Podgora to the islands of Brac and Hvar. Everything was clean and tidy. Thank you for this great stay ☺️

Ruhiges tolles Haus mit Pool

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Leons Villa, die Aussicht ist einfach unbezahlbar. Die inserierten Bilder sind wohl schon etwas älter aber es war doch alles so wie beschrieben, lediglich den Gasgrill gibt es wohl leider nicht mehr. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der freundliche Nachbar hat nach dem Pool geschaut. Es war unser erster Urlaub in Kroatien und es hat uns alles in allem wirklich gut gefallen, man ist jedoch unbedingt auf ein Auto angewiesen. Die Parksituation an den Stränden war mitunter katastrophal und die Preise die hier aufgerufen werden sind mitunter unverschämt, damit hatten wir so nicht gerechnet. Aber hier geht es um die Villa und die ist einfach toll

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille, logement très agréable avec tout le necessaire pour 5 personnes. La terrasse et la piscine sont superbes, nous avons fait tous nos repas en exterieur avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Le propriétaire est a l ecoute et tres sympa.

Great villa, location and hosts

Loved our time at the villa, it had everything we needed for an enjoyable getaway with awesome views as well. Although not right in town, we preferred to be out a bit where it was quieter and it was only a short drive or walk for the keen people to town. Also a great central location for wider travel to Split, Dubrovnik, Mostar etc, all only a couple hours away. We would definitely return. Leon was also extremely helpful, quick to respond and assist in anyway he could.

Very nice villa. Clean, well maintained, well located and big rooms! Everything exactly as in the description. The apartment is fully equipped, with towels, umbrellas, complete kitchen equipment, etc. The owners are very nice and helpful! Family holiday in Croatia

A beautiful villa set in the stunning location of Podgora. High up in the hills with fantastic views of the sea and sunset. A little steep to get to but well worth it as the villa is more than what we expected. Definitely need a car although the owner suggested a taxi driver who we used a lot to take us out in the evening. Some great restaurants both in Podgora and Tucepi. Makarska is well worth a visit. Leon was very helpful with any enquiries that we made to him. Worth noting if driving from Split to Podgora, use the motorway as much quicker than taking the coastal route as this can take up to four hours! Motorway toll was only 25 kuna. Would definitely come back to Podgora and stay at Villa Ana. Thank you Leon.

Beautiful Villa with amazing views

I have just returned from a week in Podgora staying at this fantastic villa. My first impressions were what an amazing location. Sitting up high against the mountains overlooking the town. Peace and seclusion but not too far away from civilisation. The villa had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and there are plenty of loungers for everyone and lots of space for outdoor eating. Bedrooms were huge and beds were very comfortable and we really liked having the 2 bathrooms. The town itself is lovely, not too crowded with a good range of shops and restaurants and it is perfectly situated for visiting the islands or bigger towns eg. Makarska or Split and Dubrovnik. You would definitely need a car to stay here but it's worth the drive from the airport. The owner Leon was very helpful and communication was easy so absolutely no problems there. We were all very sad to leave. We would definitely go back to the town and villa. A perfect holiday, thanks so much!

Lovely quiet villa with outstanding views

Really enjoyed staying at this villa with the sunset views to die for as we sat on the terrace sipping our aperitifs :) Great pool with sunbeds/shades etc. You have to drive down to the village, it would be quite a long walk. Could have done with checking the BBQ gas container as it was virtually empty but we scraped by just the once. Our flight was unfortunately delayed so we arrived after midnight in the dark. Our rental car (Puegot) satnav was awful and took us way the wrong way. Recommend you fire up your mobile phone and use the maps app to find it. (Also make sure if arriving late you stop and bring some liquids/food as there is zero in the villa). All in all however a really great place and Leon was a most courteous and responsive host concering any queery!!!!

We really enjoyed our vacation in that accomodation. Everything is excellent: great and beautiful house, nice pool with a great view. Leon was always very helpful and he gave us great hints. I really can recommend to stay there. We had a great time.

Perfect place to stay

A beautiful holiday villa. Pool is good size, about 6,5 x 3,5, very clean. Bedrooms are realy large and beds are huge and good quality matresses, also bathrooms are large, we enjoyed jacuzzy. It is situated up a hill so a car is required. The town centre is a short drive away where there is a wide range of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely family holiday here. Recomend restaurant Veza, two minutes drive from villa.

Awesome stay

This is why we love HomeAway. perfect communication, perfect arrangements, a perfect villa and the perfect location. Beautiful views and comfortable property

The villa was situated up the hill in a small hamlet surrounded by old houses and olive trees. Very private. It is 4 minutes drive to beach resort of Podgora which has many restaurants, bars, and pebble beaches. The villa was perfect for our family of 4, not too big, not too small, with all ammenities expected available. We spent most of our time swimming in the pool and relaxing on the terrace with a couple glasses of wine or more, enjoying the beautiful seaviews. Great place for family vacation, highy recommended.

Amazing views

The house is set high on a hill overlooking the small town of Podgora, overlooking the sea. It was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The pool offers a chance to cool down after a day in the glorious sunshine. The view of the sea and off the town is amazing and can be enjoyed from the terrace or either of the 2 verandas and there is plenty of comfortable seating to allow you to do this. The local town is a lovely place to visit, well frequented by locals and holidaymakers alike and has many restaurants and bars right on the water's edge. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. A car is a necessity!

Superb!

A beautiful house which is larger than it looks in the photos. The setting is amazing - high in the hills above Podgora with the most amazing views - watching the sunsets each evening is stunning. The pool area is large with sunbeds and parasols provided and there is a a lovely shaded eating area with BBQ's. It is positioned on a private track - not a road as it appears in the photos, so very quiet. Four of us stayed here very comfortably (I think there were additional sofa beds and could accommodate more people)? Check in and out was easy and Leon was very helpful. Dubovnik is 2 1/2 hours away along the stunning coastal road (you need passports)! Split was just over an hours drive. Would highly recommend staying here.
