This is not a corporate rental, its our actual home that we'd love to share with you.
As former travel health care workers for nearly a decade we know what makes a furnished rental feel like home. (Born & raised in Carpinteria ourselves!) Again, this is NOT a corporate rental, but rather its our home, owned by us.
Experience our gorgeous gem of a town like a true Carpinterian! Our 2 bedroom plus office home has all the modern conveniences you'll need to work away from home in comfort while maintaining our small town charm.
The cozy living room with 2 sofa's, one a sofa bed, and a high grade air purifier is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or at work. There are over 100 DVDs and blue rays and plenty of cookbooks to browse.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with stovetop, convection oven, toaster oven, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, and Nespresso machine, electric kettle and more! The hardest thing for us when traveling was not having kitchen gear to cook with! We've tried our best to make sure that won't happen to our guests.
The office features a desk, printer, space for yoga with a bit of provided equipment. You'll find a couple puzzles in the office, but the majority of our collection can be found in the garage in our "Puzzle Library". There is also a seated elliptical machine to exercise while you work at the desk, or move to the living room and use while watching TV or reading a book. In the closet you'll also find an air mattress.
Both bathrooms feature a shower, while the front bathroom has a tub and the master has 2 shower heads and a bench for accessible bathing.
Guests will appreciate the wonderful foam topped queen bed in the master bedroom, and queen in the 2nd bedroom.
The spacious and beautifully gardened back yard has a lawn, table and chairs to enjoy a meal outside, as well as a maintained hot tub.
In the garage guests will find a washer and dryer, as well as tables set up to either fold launder, or puzzle if desired.
The picturesque neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, a place where you can enjoy the blue jays and hummingbirds year round. The back patio has a large table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or a BBQd dinner off the grill. Sore muscles? Take a dip in the hot tub!
Enjoy a wonderful shower with softened water in the master bath's dual headed shower, or a soak in the front bathroom's tub.
There is a ton of free street parking as well as driveway parking available.
With amenities like WiFi, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, convection oven, central heat and AC, and monthly cleanings included your stay will be terrific!

- 4 min drive to Carpinteria Bluffs trailhead
- 20 min walk to the beach

Talia works as a speaker with a local non-profit, training high school seniors and the disabled community on civics and their voting rights.
Frank was a travel Electrophysiology Technologist working in Cardiology for nearly a decade. (Now a Cardiac Mapper.)
So, we traveled around the country from assignment to assignment for almost 10 years, living in furnished homes for 3-6 months at a time.
We hope our many years of living in temporary housing has helped us create a comfortable, cozy experience for you!

What makes our property unique is that its actually OUR home. Many furnished rentals are now owned by corporations and therefore feel very impersonal. You'll see throughout our house the love we have for our home.
