Nice condo with beautiful beach views

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. You have great views of the beach and sunsets right from your balcony. The condo is nice and has everything you need. The pool is pretty nice but we spent most of our time on the beach. The beach here is amazing with white sand and clear blue-green water and is only steps away from the condo. There are plenty of shells to hunt for and we enjoyed watching the birds hunting for fish and crabs all day. This is a prime spot if you want somewhere quiet and laidback that is situated right on the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping all within 10 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again!

Check in process

Check in process was lengthy. The VRBO listing stated check in 3 or after. We were told that their check in is 4:00. Weren't able to check in until 4:20 pm.

Panoramic View

We stayed at this wonderful property 5/1/22 - 5/6/22 and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The view from this 5th floor condo is second to none. It is oceanfront and the view is magnificent in all directions. The condo itself is very clean, the beds are excellent and very comfortable. The condo grounds are clean and well kept. The condo building is a bit dated and needs some maintenance, but they are working on those updates. The owner of the condo was extremely easy to work with and answered all questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay in this lovely condo again.

Beautiful view and quite beach

The condo was very quite and nicely decorated. It is an older building but has been maintained pretty well. Our first time in Longboat Key. Beautiful area. There were a couple of minor disappointments. The toilet needs to be repaired. It makes a running noise and is lose. The refrigerator ice machine doesn’t work but also makes a loud water running sound . The light over the sink flickers and doesn’t come on. It clearly has a short. All in all though many updates and the bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Sheer Heaven for a week !

Upon arriving at turtle crawl, we opened the door to a spectacular view of the ocean from the kitchen/living room/and private deck. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location everything about our rooms was perfect. Quiet, relaxing, and equipped with everything we needed. Located near excellent restaurants, and we found a Publix and a CVS lady is in the office work great and prior to our arrival. Frank was most helpful.. Can’t say enough good about this place!

Great place!

Enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Turtle Crawl Inn. Easy to get to the beach. Just recommend having a car because most restaurants are a good drive away.

In short, you are not going to beat the view this property provides. From morning coffee to evening cocktail, the balcony provides an amazing view of the gulf. Great beach and nice pool made this an awesome week for our family.

Great Rental!

The condo was great. The smell of disinfectant greeted us at the door. It was very clean and spacious as pictured. The view is as pictured as well. It was a great stay. I would definitely rent again. Two improvement suggestions...the balcony door needs a screen so guests can enjoy the sounds of the ocean without those pesky flies. Also, it would've been nice if there were a ceiling fan in the house anywhere, but the dining area particularly. Not having the screen or ceiling fan did not ruin my stay, but they would've definitely made it better. So maybe 4 stars instead of 5. 😉

Property has some problems that need to be addressed.

Showerhead needs replacement. The person at check-in said a new one was supposed to delivered that day, it wasn't. She also said the old showerhead was serviceable, it wasn't. The new one did not come. Also the commode tank was cracked and was leaking. It looked like the flush handle had recently been replaced and however did the work tightened the handle to tight a cracked the tank. When we flushed the commode I had to turn off the water to keep the tank empty. The next time the commode needed flushed, I had to turn the water on for the tank to fill and and then I would flush it and turn the water off. At least I could place the trash container where it could catch the water when it leaked.
