Welcome to The Stone House , a charming 4-bedroom storybook farmhouse located on a working vegetable farm. This historic home blends original character with modern comforts, offering a warm and inviting space full of personality, antique touches, and updated essentials.

The home sleeps up to 8 guests with 2 king beds & 2 queen beds. Guests can enjoy WiFi, updated kitchen appliances, central HVAC, and two bathrooms for added convenience. It’s the perfect setting for families or friends looking to relax, reconnect and experience farm life.

GUEST COUNT: The number of guests must be accurate at booking. Unregistered guests are not permitted due to insurance requirements.

NO PETS ALLOWED

BASEMENT: Not included in the rental and is used for farm/event storage.

WORKING FARM & EVENTS: This is an active farm and event property. You may see staff, visitors, or events during your stay. All evening events end by 10 PM and the Stone House remains private for VRBO guests. Our onsite market is located behind the home and open seasonally Thursday–Saturday, guests are encouraged to visit.

HISTORIC HOME NOTE: The Stone House is an older farmhouse with unique character and quirks. We are continuously making thoughtful renovations and improvements while preserving its original charm. We kindly ask guests to be understanding and appreciate the home for its authentic farmhouse experience.

Private events may be available upon request with prior approval, fees, a deposit with rental agreement signing. VRBO guests receive discounted rates.

We take pride in offering a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. If you see our farm team during your stay, feel free to say hello, we’re always happy to share the space we love!

The house was charming and was a great fit for 5 adults and 3 kids. Great location for us, just a mile from my sister’s house. Convenient to I-95 to get to other local destinations. Nota, the property manager, was very prompt in responding to minor needs. The kids loved the board and other games that came with the house. A third bathroom is being added which will make the house more convenient for future large groups.

The Stone House was perfect for our family gathering. It allowed all the grandparents to come and stay with us for our son's graduation. There was plenty of room to not be on top of each other and the young adults enjoyed the board games and evening time out in the backyard.

Amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family gathering. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and the house was exactly what we needed for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. The photographer got amazing pictures in and around the house. We couldn’t be more pleased. Clean and well stocked kitchen, plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor seating was perfect to relax and watch the kids play in the yard. Pickleball and the swing were much enjoyed by everyone. I was able to catch this picture of a beautiful sunset on our final day.

Just like the listing says, it is an older home and has quirks. It has been renovated but things are not "perfect" - lights flicker and dim, plumbing is a little slow, floor is creaky, gaps around bathroom light/fan, numerous light switches, etc. I don't say these things to be negative - just to make others aware. The AC upstairs had been out when we arrived home one day around 9pm and they had an AC technician out around 11pm. Inconvenient but happy they could get it fixed because they were not able to setup portable AC units upstairs (not all windows open, plugs not nearby). Decorated nicely and well stocked - plenty of towels (very appreciated with no washer/dryer), good bed linens, several clothes hangers, and overall good space. As the listing states, it is a working property and there cars going down the driveway or people walking around daily. We enjoyed fresh eggs on the counter! It was perfect for what we needed for 5 people for a few days! It will be great when the 3rd bathroom is available.

Spectacular!!

The StoneHouse was perfect for our adult family of 8 and a baby! It was charming, clean and well equipped! Thw Market was a BIG hit with us all and the couple that ran it were amazing! So welcoming and accommodating! We were in town for a celebration of life so ot was great for our family to have this peaceful place to retreat to. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Beautiful, well appointed house!

This is one of the cleanest houses I’ve ever stayed in! Loved that every bedroom had a dresser and a closet. All of the furniture was clean, comfy, and very nice. There was tons and tons of space. Would definitely go back.

Weekend sports tournament

This location was a great place just outside the city but within a short drive to the Greater Convention Center. The house was very clean and spacious. We missed having 3 bathrooms but appreciated that the listing only included the 2 working bathrooms when we booked so we knew what to expect. The backyard space was nice and we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. I got a chance to go to the farm market in the back which had lots of delicious local goods. A lovely place for the weekend!
