Once a foreman’s home and later a hunters’ camp, it now welcomes guests to experience rustic charm, scenic views, country roads, and abundant wildlife. Explore nearby Enchanted Rock or Castell on the Llano river, and enjoy the slow pace of country living. Founded on faith, family, and love for the land, we’re excited to share this special place with you!

Great location nice bunkhouse updated. I am very good location. A little hard to find the turn in but well worth it. Highly recommend the owners were great.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving to get away from all of the chaos and absolutely loved it! We brought all premade food and the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and is very spacious, so it was perfect. Jen and Cody are excellent in their communication and so kind. They left us a handwritten card and homemade bread to welcome us. I highly recommend enjoying this little slice of the Hill Country!

Peaceful Country Setting

This was a peaceful stay in the country with our mother, who got to see the Texas Hill Country more thoroughly than her visit years ago. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located to the places we wanted to see! Our hosts, Cody & Ben were very easy to communicate with!

Hill Country Trip

We had a nice, relaxing stay at the bunkhouse! Location is in the country so it’s very quiet and peaceful. It’s centrally located between Fredricksburg (30 miles away) and Llano (20 miles away) which was exactly what we wanted this trip. Cody, Jen, and family were very welcoming and responded quickly to any questions. The bunkhouse was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The welcoming snacks, and wine were a bonus. We would love to stay here again when we visit the hill country.

A Texas Hill Country Gem

Nestled on a 1,000 acre family-owned ranch, this bunkhouse is the perfect getaway for those wanting an escape from the city. Whether you're wanting to visit the local shops and cafes in Llano or want to spend a few days touring the wineries in Fredericksburg, it's all within a 25 minute drive. The bunkhouse is perfect with two bedrooms, a nice living space and full kitchen. The house is meticulously clean and all furniture is in great condition. We will definitely return. And why not- seeing all the cattle every morning and deer in the evening- what could be better. Love this place.

The Bunkhouse is comfy cozy, nestled in a scenic corner of beautiful country, and the bunkhouse is exactly as you see in the descriptive pictures. The host are very communicative, with quick response each time. They even offer tips if you need recommendations of things to do or places to eat . I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great country getaway!!
