Step inside to find a stylish, sun-filled living space with modern decor, a large flat-screen TV, and a comfortable sofa that doubles as a twin sleeper. The fully equipped kitchen features white cabinetry, a gas stove, and everything you need to cook meals at home. The cozy bedroom has a plush queen bed with crisp, clean linens — perfect for a great night's sleep after a day at the beach.

The real showstopper is your private patio — complete with a fire pit, comfortable outdoor seating, and string lights overhead. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening drinks, or just relaxing under the San Diego sky.

You're in the heart of Ocean Beach (OB), a laid-back neighborhood known for its surf culture, eclectic shops, and incredible food scene. Walk to the beach in under 5 minutes, stroll to Ocean Beach Pier in 12 minutes, or explore the restaurants, bars, and boutiques along Newport Avenue. Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is just a short drive or bike ride away.

I loved this cute little place. It was a perfect walk to tons of local restaurants and the beach. My only thing I would recommend is bringing an extra set of linens or a blanket for whoever sleeps on the couch. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

Super close to the beach! The AC worked well in the bedroom which was a happy reprieve from the summer heat midday after lunch. Always had the master door closed to allow for it to remain climatized. Comfortable place to bring your pet to! The host was super responsive and refilled our propane tank when we reached out. It was great having the little fire pit for the late quiet night.

I had a great stay! Close to the beach, all the amenities I needed, and the yard was perfect for hanging out with my dog. Host was responsive and helpful, the place was clean, and I was very comfortable. Worth noting there is no oven, which isn’t a big deal but if you’re grocery shopping for your stay just plan accordingly.

The cottage was cute and cozy. The private outdoor space was a great bonus for an early morning cup of tea and a glass of wine at night.You can't beat the location. We had no problem parking on the street, but I imagine it might be more difficult during peak beach months. Jacob was very helpful and communicative.

This place is a lovely little cottage in the heart of Ocean Beach within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, shops, and of course, the ocean! Comfortable bed, outdoor seating and modern appliances were great as well.

Jacob was extremely responsive and helpful throughout my entire stay! The space was clean and perfect for 1 person. It was easy to walk around OB and get to other locations of San Diego. Would highly recommend staying here!

The location is fantastic—about two blocks from the dog beach and a park, with restaurants nearby and downtown less than a 10-minute walk away. The patio was a big plus, the kitchen appliances were nice, and the Wi-Fi was excellent for working remotely.Parking is street parking. Some days it was difficult to find a spot and we often had to park on another street. There are street-sweeping signs everywhere, so be aware—I unfortunately received a parking ticket.The biggest issue was the air conditioning. We were there during a heat wave, so this may have been worse than usual, but the living area was extremely hot. The bedroom window unit did okay with the door closed, but did very little for the living space. Even with the windows open at night, it remained very warm.There was also an ant problem. A hole above the stove appeared to allow ants into the kitchen, and we spent the week fighting them with traps. We lost the fight.Several things need maintenance/updating: the desk chair was too low so you had to reach up to work on the desk, the outdoor hose had a hole, beach chairs were old/rusty, some windows were missing screens, a few patio string lights were out, and a bedside table was pulling out of the wall. I also couldn't figure out how to lock the gate even though it has keypad and code, so it remained unlocked.Overall, the location and dog-friendly setup are excellent, but the property needs maintenance. The heat and ants significantly impacted our comfort.

This unit is very clean and nicely renovated. It is small but the location cannot be beaten. I missed having a table or sitting area for games. The couch is lumpy but the bed was comfy.

Awesome spot in Ocean Beach

This is exactly as described - a cozy cottage, perfect for a couple, with a really great location in OB. Comfy bed, little TV area for taking a break, functional kitchen, and the front yard with the fire table is awesome for chilling out in the evening. Host was super responsive and friendly. 10/10

We absolutely loved the stay. The place is in a great spot, walks lento everywhere in OB and far enough away from the hustle and noise of the livelier spots. The host was very responsive and the place was all set for our stay with everything we needed. Parking is a little tight depending on what time of day/ night you're in and out, but that is OB and San Diego in general so it is to be expected. The beach is a couple blocks away, and Newport is a 7 minute or so walk. We loved the outdoor area for lounging in the evening and morning. Great all around!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this beach house and found it to be a good value for the location. The house was clean upon arrival, and being so close to the beach was definitely the highlight of our trip. There is so much nearby which made things super convenient. For the price, it offered a lot of convenience and easy access to everything Ocean Beach has to offer.That said, there were several maintenance and comfort issues that should be addressed. The backyard was covered with spider webs, making it less enjoyable to use. We also had to climb onto a chair just to reach the switch for the outdoor lights, which felt unsafe and inconvenient. The air conditioning worked well in the bedroom, but the rest of the house remained noticeably warm.Inside, the sofa cushions were worn and falling apart, and there was a significant amount of dust underneath both the couch and the bed, suggesting those areas had not been cleaned in quite some time.One other concern was the mention in the house book about being courteous to the tenants in the back unit. We were respectful throughout our stay, but unfortunately did not receive the same courtesy in return, which impacted our overall experience.Despite these issues, the location, cleanliness of the main living areas, and affordability were strong positives. With a few maintenance improvements and better attention to shared-space expectations, this property could provide a much better guest experience.

Great little home in a great location. Everything is there within walking distance. We had the garage available to us but always found street parking so we ended up not using it. Very quiet neighborhood! If you're planning to cook be aware there is no oven. However the unit does have a nice gas stovetop and a slick microwave so it's really not too much of an issue. Only minor complaint was the couch is a bit lumpy but still serviceable. Overall great stay and we would not hesitate to book again!
