We have customer service available from 8am to 11pm daily to ensure your stay goes as smoothly as possible.

All guests receive Caprina fresh goat’s milk soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, laundry detergent, olive oil, salt and pepper, coffee and sugar on arrival. If you need any extra items or services during your stay, just let us know - we`re always happy to help!

Unit Access:
• Complete access to all areas of the apartment.

Parking Access:
• Parking in Montreal can be tricky. Although we DO NOT PROVIDE on-site parking, there are several public paid lots available nearby, including one at Marché Jean-Talon. We recommend using the ClickNPark app to find and reserve a spot ahead of time.

Transportation Access:
• WALKING: Central and convenient location makes walking a great option.
• BICYCLES: Take advantage of BIXI – Montreal’s bike sharing system. Take a bike when you need one, and leave it at any station when you arrive at your destination. There is a BIXI station right across the street.
• PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Under 4 min walk to Jean-Talon subway station (orange line).
• TAXIS/UBER: Never more than a few minutes wait.

Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection.

To cover you up to 500CAD, it includes the choice between:
Option 1: a security deposit with a non-refundable fee of 15CAD
Option 2: a non-refundable damage waiver of 35CAD.

Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

Other things to note:
• Please be informed that we have security cameras installed on the terrace. This is to enhance the safety and security of all our guests.
• The unit is only accessible by stairs.
• We have a wall-mounted AC in the unit.
This is a friendly reminder of our house rules:
1. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
2. Parties and excessive noise are prohibited at all times.
3. Smoking indoors and on the balcony is strictly prohibited.

Failure to oblige to our house rules can result in eviction or damage claim charges. If smoke of any kind is detected upon check-out, our penalty fee is $500.

Booking through VRBO a bit confusing: Payment, Damage waiver and Checkin are all done through external portal. Was weary because I had never seen it, but the host was very accommodating and nice, and guided us through every step. The apartment is very nice and in a great location, would stay again.

This VRBO property is very well situated, and right outside your window is the Jean Talon Market, full of good food and drink, with restaurants right inside the market as well as many nearby. The airport is around 30-40 minutes away, and there is public transit right outside your door, as well as a short 5 minute walk to the Metro (Jean Talon station), the underground subway system in Montreal.The suite itself has quite a comfortable bed, powerful shower (no tub), 2 chairs and small dining table, and a comfy couch to relax at night with the TV. One note about the TV, as it does NOT have cable TV (no local channels), and the WiFi while we were there, was very spotty (slow speeds) and intermittent, which affected the quality of streaming apps on the TV, which left us also using up our data on our phones as they had the same spotty WiFi. The hosts were kind enough to reimburse a portion of the rental, but WiFi is one of those essentials as a tourist that you rely on and must have at your disposal.The other inconvenient item was the lack of any storage for toiletries, as we had to place them on the toilet bowl tank or underneath the bathroom sink. A proper set of shelves or cabinets would be a great upgrade for that.Otherwise, I would recommend this VRBO property with a few conditions, the main one being WiFi needs to be "up to speed".
