Hogar maravillosamente hecho a mano, una historia y media con un dormitorio grande en el piso de arriba, plan de piso abierto por las escaleras, 3 patios, uno con una bañera de hidromasaje privada inmaculada. Ubicado en las montañas al sureste de Santa Fe, tan tranquilo que lo único que escuchas son pájaros y algún que otro coyote en la noche. Cinco minutos a pie del Bosque Nacional de Santa Fe. Casa completamente amueblada y equipada. Se requiere 4WD durante los meses de invierno.

We fell in love with the house as soon as we stepped foot inside. It is so clean and well kept and we can tell the house is very loved. I snuck my wife out for our 3 year anniversary and Dodie was very great at communicating for every part of the trip. We will definitely come back again ! Also we has some deer greet us in the morning and it was the cherry on top !

Enjoyed the stay. The house was clean and quaint. The assistance from the owner (Dorothy) was fantastic during arrival. Even though there were other houses near by, the house felt isolated due to all the trees surrounding it. Would definitely stay again. For anyone reading this review, I would suggest a four wheel drive in the winter months. The drive up to the house could present some challenges.

Amazing place! Quiet, comfortable, relaxing - and that's even before you step out back. Great spot to relax with a zen bubbling water feature. Oh and the hot tub is great after a long day out! Plus Dorothy is an outstanding host, always quick to respond, and very kind.10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

Quiet getaway

This home was perfect for my husband and me—tucked away from the hustle and bustle yet just a short drive to everything we needed. It was spotless, had a fresh scent, and everything functioned perfectly. I highly recommend a vehicle with AWD, as mentioned in the listing. We experienced an unexpected snowstorm, making the roads a bit slick and the snowfall heavy, but it was all worth it. We cozied up and enjoyed a peaceful, quiet weekend.

Great Get Away!!!!

This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and this place will always be special to us! It was the perfect home, just right for 2 people! The location was quiet and looked very Santa Fe! The place we stayed was very clean which I loved! It was a unique neatly decorated home. Lovely places to sit out front and back. The hot tub was amazing! We hope to stay there again soon!

Wonderful home!

We had such a fantastic time at Dodie's place. It is so well designed, super clean and stocked with everything we needed. The furniture, the bed and the layout of the home is superb. Not to mention the gardens and hot tub. I would highly recommend this home and would rent again if we come back to this area. Thank you Dodie!

Cozy Retreat Under the Stars

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be out in nature but close to Santa Fe, NM. Dodie’s home is comfortable, well stocked with everything you need, and gives you privacy to completely relax while you’re there. Our host was very responsive when we had questions. Her place is beautiful with lots of flowers and hummingbirds in the yard. We enjoyed it!

Tranquil indeed

This stay will stay with me for a long time. It was so lovely and restorative. My husband and I stayed- found our flow pretty quickly. Time out in back on the glider, on the glider out front. It was nice and cool in the morning and evening, good for hot tub and relaxing time outside, and comfortable temps inside all day/night. Hot water and pressure great for showers. Kitchen space great for meal prep. Sound of crickets at night with a big sky. So nice to be a little ways out of city center while at the same time close enough to visit there. Thank you, Dorothy.

Outstanding place and location!

Unique, charming and spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Hot tub was not only great but it’s located in a secluded spot in the backyard a little below the main patio area. Plenty of sky above for stargazing! Host, Dodie was attentive and friendly. Only a short distance to downtown Santa Fe, but all the charm of a country place. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Close to town but has the old world feeling of the Santa Fe I first met in 1979. Quiet, fresh mountain air; I walk up my road and I am in the Santa Fe National Forest. Beautiful views of the mountains the entire drive out.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The lights of the city are occluded which makes twice as many stars visible in the night sky. I love watching meteor showers from my hot tub! It is exquisitely quiet and peaceful and only 15 to 20 minutes to the plaza all along a graceful mountain road without traffic lights and only a few stop signs, no traffic!
