This is a lovely place to stay. We loved how close this was to the Lake Worth downtown area. We walked for coffee/tea in the mornings and walked to pick up groceries and then out to eat for dinner. Our favorite places were Common Ground, Mario’s, Rustica (tiramisu), and Coast Seafood (chowder). The area is very quiet at night and the host is always available, if needed.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. Nina couldn't have been more kind, and the location is unbeatable - an easy walk to restaurants, breakfast, coffee, etc., and a quick drive over the bridge to one of the best beaches in Palm Beach County. The place itself is super cute and cozy, and would be great for a couple or a family traveling with younger children. With our three growing boys (14, 14, and 11), it was almost a little too cozy, but we made it work, and again, you can't beat the location or the kindness of the host.

Great communication with owner. Space is exactly as advertised, nice touches. Just off the main street full of restaurants, bars, small shops. Very quick walk to all. Beach is a short drive.

We had so much fun in the love shack. It was the perfect size for a family of 4, kids aged 13 and 8. The shack was impeccably styled with fun little beach shack touches everywhere. It was my daughter's birthday the day before we arrived and we found a 13 balloon waiting for us and two bags of treats for the kids. It was so sweet! The area is also very walkable with restaurants and bars and the Lake Worth beach is really nice.

This was a lovely spot to stay, close to restaurants and the beach, which was what we were looking for. It was well equipped and the towels and bedding were clean and luxurious. The one issue we had is that my husband is 6'4" and this place is tiny! The beds are sort of built in, so even sleeping diagonally he was not totally comfortable. We certainly could not sleep in the same bed. For many people this would not be an issue, but it might be worth noting.

The Blue Love Shack is a thoughtfully designed tiny home (450 sq ft), and while many guests—even those over 6 feet—have slept very comfortably, we understand that space and layout can feel different depending on personal preference. We had a lovely time this past weekend at the Blue Love Shack.My sister and I enjoyed the house and it's amenities and central location. We put the little oven to the test cooking and baking away while watching Twilight (yup, I said it lol) and sharing stories. Nina is a gracious and communicative host; balloons for my birthday and a handwritten note to welcome us. We had a great time.

The host was welcoming, but the property is in passable condition. The amenities were negligible: two coffee cups for three people, 4 towels for 3 people for intended 5 day stay. No washer/dryer or dish washer. A broken refrigerator. Two seats in living area, no couch to actually watch any TV together. Vagrants in back alley behind bedroom moaning, two nights. The back yard flooded so you couldn’t get out without wading thru 5” of water.

Ms. Chris, this review is half true. As soon as you walked in to the property you let me know there were only 2 coffee cups and I quickly provided additional (error on my part!). You requested a kettle (not in amenities) but brought one over right away. We have a brand new fridge. There is a washer/dryer. No dishwasher and definitely not one in the listing. I always ask if there is anything a guest needs- my speediness to deliver items would have proved that you could ask and it would be granted. Thank you for staying. I know you had a great time with your friends!

This is the most charming little Florida cottage. A small yet spacious little home in a quaint neighborhood. Very walkable to local food and bars. You can even walk to the beach and spare yourself the hassles of traffic and a parking fee. Nina was an incredibly kind and accommodating host. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was just right for our trip. I highly recommend this spot.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Lake Worth Beach staying in the Blue Love Shack! It was a great setup for our needs. The host was very helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. The place was well maintained and clean. Very cute/fun colors and bright inside. Also enjoyed the outdoor patio space. Only a 5 minute drive to the beach so that was very convenient. And just a few minutes from the grocery store. We are grateful for our time there creating wonderful memories!

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Love Shack with two other friends. We brought our friends down to show them around the Palm Beach area. This house is in the perfect location. My son is living here in college and we were about 15 mins from him and other things we wanted to show them ! The house is so cute and charming, very clean and the owner was quick with sending information and responding! Highly recommend the stay here! It’s perfect for four adults. We will be back to stay.

My name is Nina. I am the owner and host of the Love Shacks. I am a Christian, wife of an active duty officer, and a mother and homeschool teacher of 3 beautiful kids.

My husband is a Native Floridian born and raised in Lake Worth. We met at a local university (Palm Beach Atlantic University) where we married at the young age of 19. Our family holds a lot of history in Lake Worth Beach. His parents were married there; my family would take me to John G's on the beach every visit; we were engaged one sunrise on the beach; and we have surfed, snorkled, swam and made endless sand castles on the beach with our own kids.

After traveling all 50 states and visiting every National Park, we can say with confidence that South Florida is one of the most beautiful places in the USA and we love to share the beauty with others.

Lake Worth Beach holds very fond memories and history for us. It was the place, growing up, to take family and friends when visiting. We have raised our own kids on the beach. We see ourselves retiring here. Until then, we love bringing our kids to escape the cold winters of DC and enjoying the Love Shacks like tourists.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The story behind the Love Shacks starts with the previous owners- 2 artists who found love later in life. At 50 years old, the woman had never been married and fate brought forth a mate at her birthday party. Not long after, her lover asked to marry and move in to share a life together. She said, the abridged version, I have lived alone for this long; why would I do that?

His plan was brilliant- buy 2 homes, one behind the other, and co-exist. She took the Blue Shack and he took the Pink Shack and a marriage of fate and compromise came to be.

This story was so romantic, but it also made us realize our own love story. How God and faith brought us together to grow our love story in Lake Worth.
