Just perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Ruby's flat over Christmas. The flat has everything you could ask for a real home feel to it. The location is perfect, just a short walk to high street shops and the Hammersmith underground station. The walking loop from Hammersmith bridge to Putney bridge along the river is just delightful. If coming back to London we would definitely stay again. Thanks Ruby.

Hammersmith stay

We stayed in Ruby's place in Hammersmith for a week. This is an interesting neighborhood, close to many restaurants and a Wetlands center, plus on the Thames path. The apartment is very nice and well stocked. We liked being able to go out on the patio and watch the Thames path walkers. We really enjoyed our trip and Ruby was terrific for an easy check-in and for any questions. Loved it!

A place with a view.

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for the three of us and it was great to have a pub just across the street. On the weekend you can hear some of the music a bit, but it wasn’t a bother for us. We got to see a big rowing competition on the river. That was a nice surprise! It was great to be in a quieter area in the evenings after fighting crowds most of the days visiting the tourist attractions. I highly recommend. Ruby was quick to respond and the check in was easy with her instructions.

Excellent Location

Ruby's VRBO is exactly as described and pictured. The flat was spotless, the kitchen well stocked and a handbook provided which contained operating instructions for all appliances. She also provided maps, take-away menus, sightseeing books and brochures. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Tube, many shops, pubs and grocers along the way. We found the neighborhood to be safe and friendly. We had two very minor issues and Ruby was prompt to respond. We highly recommend staying at this penthouse flat.

excellent flat in convenient location

We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect. 10 mins walk from the tube , into central London within 30-40 mins from setting out from the door. Has a parking space. Even in Oct, we enjoyed sitting on the veranda, and watch the rowing boats go by. Also an excellent spot to start my 2 mile run to Putney or Chiswick bridge then back again along the Thames path. Good local restaurants (We used Chez Maiss and Brasserie Blanc, but there are others),plus Sainsburys and Tesco. Great wifi. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Warm. Highly recommended.

Flat on the Thames

The flat was clean, secure, very modern, well equipped, and very comfortable. The high-tech bathrooms had my grandchildren and I laughing as we tested the plumbing and lighting! the lift provides a good alternative to climbing four flights of stairs. We enjoyed the view of the Thames and people on the river pathway below the balcony. A ten or twelve minute walk to the Hammersmith tube station provided quick access to London’s major tourist sights. Ruby is a most accommodating host, responding immediately to our every need. Hello Ruby I would like to tell you that we loved your apartment, we have been very comfortable and very calm. Everything worked well, the heating very well, the kitchen with everything necessary (thanks for the Nespresso), the living room very comfortable. The luminosity is fantastic, the sunny days enter all the rooms. It is ideal to be more time enjoying London. The only drawback is that it is a bit expensive for us. Thank you very much for having everything very well. Only a few suggestions, if you could eliminate one of the bathtubs, replace it with a shower cabin, it would be better and more comfortable. In the kitchen, only one orange juicer is missing. We try to leave it as neat as possible, just do not pass the vacuum cleaner, since cleaning was included in the price. Just one more question, when the guarantee deposit is returned? I hope see you again

Delightful extended stay in Hammersmith

The property was perfect from start to finish. Ruby communicated very clearly and made sure I had all the information needed regarding check in well before our flight landed in London. Upon arrival we were more than satisfied with everything in the flat - the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the living area, the views! It’s a short walk to the nearest Underground station which has 4 lines to take you wherever you need to go throughout London. We also loved walking along the Thames, watching the tides, and exploring Hammersmith itself. Highly recommend this flat for anyone looking to get away from the main parts of London!

Wonderful views

My mum and aunt stayed at Rubys flat and they loved it. Ruby met them the first day which was wonderful as she helped them with the keys etc and from then on they were fine. They loved sitting on the balcony watching all the action on the river with a glass of wine. The views from every room were lovely and the walks along the river from the flat were also a highlight. It was easy for them to get around London and although the lift broke on the last day Ruby was in contact with them and I believe it got sorted. Thank you ruby for your excellent communication and for making my mum and aunts London trip feel like a ‘home away from home!’

View of the thames

Ruby is a wonderful host, very friendly and responsive. The flat is well appointed and you cannot beat the views. Park on one side and a friendly pub on the other. Quick easy walk to tube. Loved our stay!

Riverside apartment in good position for Central London

Super views and riverside walks in this clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment. Secure parking and short walk along river to local shop for essentials. London Underground trains 10 minutes walk. Pubs on riverside walk next to apartment.

Lively location and good views

It is handily placed for the many pubs along the Thames currently serving outside, with park areas to enjoy the Thames view from. Or you could just watch it all go by from the balcony. The only problem we had was the very intermittent WiFi. There was also the noise from the pub in the morning around 6am, but it wasn’t too noisy late at night thankfully.

Great Stay in Hammersmith

Had a great week at Ruby's flat. Excellent location, with short walk to Hammersmith Tube stop. Shopping and pubs nearby. Comfortable beds as well! Plenty of room for our family of three. Would highly recommend.

A Wonderful Experience

This is a delightful, sunny flat in a superb location. I've never had such a great kitchen window view. The river Thames is inspiring and ever-changing. It’s lovely to walk along its banks and have a meal at one of the local pubs. As others have mentioned, a shopping center and the tube are near by. The flat has everything you might need and Ruby is a kind and responsive host; very well organized. Thank you, Ruby!

Flat in Hammersmith - great!

Our stay at Ruby's Hammersmith apartment was very nice and extremely comfortable. It was fun watching all the traffic on the river, and the apartment was a great place to start a walk along the river path to visit some great pubs. The apartment was well-supplied and had a nicely laid out kitchen. A multitude of stores were nearby for all of our shopping needs and the closeness to the tube was a very big plus. All in all, we had a great stay!

Fantastic flat in a terrific location

We loved this flat and would stay here again in a minute. First the location. A 5 min walk from Hammersmith tube station through a safe neighbourhood. From Hammersmith tube station you can access nearly all lines directly with a few occasions to change trains. There is a pub just beside the building but don’t let that bother you. The flat has excellent windows and we heard virtually no noise. Speaking of pubs if you are facing the Thames having left the flat turn right (west) and walk to many many fabulous pubs and bistros. Fab. Runners this is your place. Lace up and hit the Thames path for many kilometres of running, walking or even cycling urban style. Walk across the Hammersmith bridge and a whole new path beckons in either direction. The flat is clean EXACTLY as depicted and is very very comfortable for two adults plus perhaps one child. There is a super king which is very firm, good linens and comfy pillows. The twin bed is perfect for up to a teen in a decent sized room. Great showers plenty of hot water in a well maintained building. Super fast wifi and great Telly. The kitchen is very very well equipped we made several dinners easily on gas stove with oven. All appliances you ever need. Washer and dryer combo worked very well. All Instruction manuals available under the coffee table in the salon Ruby is immediately available friendly and helpful. We are very self sufficient so didn’t have to bother her much I hope! Rent this flat. Enjoy the view every single minute it changes.

Lovely, clean, convenient

We had a great stay in this lovely apartment. It was very clean and well equipped, including a hair dryer, body wash and shampoo, paper products, etc. Convenient for sightseeing but also a nice opportunity to get out of the center of London and experience life like a local. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores and the tube. Having two bedrooms and 2 baths for our family of three was really nice. Would definitely recommend.
