The pictures are not what you get. Scuffs and small holes in walls, doors and cabinets that don't open or close easily, leaks from upstairs shower into the kitchen, chlorine smell from the pool (that can't be used) wafting through the house. The "new" hot tub has cosmetic damage from strapping on the lid too hard, and the pool table in the picture is shimmed so badly (with a torn felt top) that you can't play a reasonable game. One bed had dirty sheets. The four fire extinguishers were all expired (they DID replace those within 24 hours of us letting them know, but isn't that something that should be checked regularly??). The three posted licenses (that said it was a one bedroom house, ha) expired in 2025. When we made our reservation on VRBO in late 2025, and the pool was listed as an amenity. A week before we were to arrive, they said it was out of service. Looking at reviews on other sites, the pool had been having problems even before our reservation. When I asked if there would be compensation, they first changed the VRBO listing (removing the pool as an amenity - I checked before asking), and then told us that the price had already been discounted...no recognition that the description when we had reserved and paid promised a pool. The one thing this place has going for it is the location...but Montana has plenty of wide open spaces, with hopefully more honest operators. They advertise and charge premium, and deliver a bare minimum. Look elsewhere.
