Hemos pensado en todo lo que quisiéramos para nuestra familia y lo pusimos en nuestra casa en Folly Beach. Esta propiedad tiene características modernas; los techos de diez pies en la planta baja le dan una sensación de 'Old Charleston', área familiar / comedor / cocina abierta, baños para cada habitación, cubiertas en ambos niveles (proyectadas en el nivel inferior, hermosas vistas, asientos para seis personas), estacionamiento para dos autos , pisos de madera, encimeras de granito, buen almacenamiento, cocina bien equipada. ¡Incluso colocamos portones para bebés y portadas de salida, y libros, juegos y videos para los niños!

La habitación de la planta baja es de tamaño queen, hay una litera para cuatro personas en la habitación del piso de arriba (litera individual, base doble, cama individual), y una suite principal tranquila y elegante con cama king size, área de descanso, lavamanos doble. , ducha separada y jacuzzi, y amplio vestidor.

También hay una cubierta fuera del maestro, con hermosas vistas al pantano y al río. Hay televisores en cada habitación. Cuarto de lavado está arriba. Tenemos una parrilla de gas, una chimenea de gas, iluminación ambiental y TV de pantalla plana sobre la chimenea y en el maestro. Tenemos Internet de alta velocidad, acceso en el dormitorio principal a través de módem.
La propiedad tiene una piscina comunitaria y un muelle comunitario de aguas profundas con buena pesca y un amplio espacio para amarrar su barco. El acceso al bote está a una corta distancia (una cuadra) de distancia.

Puede caminar a la playa recién renovada en solo unas pocas cuadras, o al "pueblo" para cenar de todo, desde tapas hasta pizzas hasta un excelente desayuno en el Lost Dog Café. Puede obtener camarones frescos de los botes a una milla de Folly, y el centro de Charleston se encuentra a solo 15 minutos en automóvil.

Overall the place was super clean. The process of checking in and checking out was super easy. The location felt very safe. If my family comes back to the area, we will book this place again.

The house was beautiful and in a great area. Super convenient to the beach and to the main strip where all the shops and restaurants are and even to Charleston! We could walk to restaurants, cafes and stores (and if you’re up for the 15 min trek - even the beach) and anout 20 mins from James Island/Charleston. We ran into a hiccup when we first arrived as the AC was broken and it was 90 in the house, but emergency maintenance came by as we were out for dinner and had it fixed before we came back. The property management company was also great and was super communicative. They even gave us some wine and a gift card for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Long Weekend

The house was just the right size for a family of four. We loved that the location was off the beaten path but very close walking distance to the restaurants and not too far from the beach. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. The marsh view from the pool is quite impressive.

Gorgeous beach house

We had a lovely stay at Waters Edge. The house was pristine and communication with the host was helpful and clear. We rented a golf cart which made getting around Folly a breeze. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a Folly holiday.

Wonderful winter getaway

Our family of 7 spent a week here and loved it! We had plenty of space to relax in the town home (beach home?), and it was easy to access all of the historical sites and restaurants in Charleston. We liked staying in the more relaxed Folly Beach area and driving into Charleston. The kitchen had what we needed to fry fish, make smoothies, and handle the rest of our food needs.

Great townhouse in Folly Beach

This is a solid unit with great proximity to the beach, the marsh, and shopping/restaurants. Many people rented golf carts to get around, but we were fine with bikes and walking. 25 minutes to downtown Charleston is also a plus!

Wonderful location

Great comfortable place for the family and easy walk to the beach.

It was very well designed with the three bedrooms and three baths. The grandparents stayed in the downstairs bedroom with an adjacent bath and the three kids and mom and dad stayed upstairs in the kids room with bunkbed and trundle pull out. Mom and dad stayed in the master suite upstairs with its own outdoor porch. The kitchen was well equipped and next to the den and the porch outside. It was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants.

Very cute property and excellent location!

Had an excellent time at this very cute property. The layout feels very spacious and property was very clean. Our Instacart groceries arrived before our arrival and the property manager went above and beyond putting them away. We had 1-dinner out in Charleston and it was just a quick 20 min drive. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

Very clean and comfortable. Property in front of neighborhood so close walk to town. Large garage for plenty of cars. Would suggest that the gas for the grill to be filled. Had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the home is well maintained and clean, the location is terrific, and the access to the Folly Beach scene is a very short walk. The beach is only a little further, but not far, although we ended up driving to locations slightly further away (5th street or beyond) and parking. Folly Beach is great, it’s a beach town without the ritzy beach vibe, it’s a true surf beach with great restaurants all within walking distance from this property.

Great Place!

We stay in lots of rentals as a family of 6-hotels don't work for us. This rental was perfectly located, clean and well furnished. We loved the dock in the neighborhood and it was close enough to the beach to walk (although we rented a golf cart and would recommend that as it's way easier than schlepping all your stuff to the beach). Great location and well-equipped house

The location is great for access to everything Folly. A short walk to restaurants and the 'happening' area of town, and the beach. A short drive back over the bridge to to mainland and Charleston. Quiet so you can rest at night (that is a plus). Although it is possible neighbors could be not, we did not experience that. The house is pleasantly located at the upper end of a side creek and there is a clear view west towards the water. Would consider staying here again. Excellent facilities in the house for preparing your own meals too. Clean and well-serviced.
