Beautifully put together, our home will put you immediately at ease with our thoughtful touches. Get an amazing night's sleep in our Queen beds with quality sheets and amazingly soft pillows that will make you feel right at home. Go to bed and wake up to a nice cup of coffee from our complimentary coffee/tea station.


The bathroom features a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Our kitchen is equipped with your basic needs if you want to use your cooking skills, take advantage of our Wisteria tree that is perfect for photo opps or unwind in our cozy living area. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a hair dryer, washer & dryer, iron, AC, heating, and WiFi. When i noticed it was a 2 family Flat and asked did anyone live underneath the host basically got smart check in was hard , floors wasn’t mopped or swept , one of the bed was broken .

listing is not accurate of the property and it was filthy in a sketchy neighborhood and was uncomfortable. Very difficult to get into the property.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part, the children downstairs were just very loud sometimes screaming and yelling, also the kitchen fuse went out a few times when i was cooking. Overall great stay the hosts were very communicative and made me feel welcome.

Pleasant Stay

I stayed here for the 4th of July with my family. We had a great time visiting Detroit. The apartment and atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and the host made check in and check out very easy. I will say the location isn't the best but we felt safe, they also have cameras and the neighbors were nice. I would definitely recommend booking with this property. My next visit to Detroit I would be staying here.

This place is a nightmare waiting to happen. Buyer beware! I’m telling you now, don’t even waste your time and the headache of trying to get your money back.Because…you will be asking for your money back.This place looks NOTHING like their photos! There is NO bath linen so be sure to bring your own.Also, be prepared to clean up because the rooms are filthy. The shabby carpet is the nastiest.The host doesn’t live in the state near his property, so he doesn’t know the shape this place is in. It looks like a war zone!

The condition of the property was extremely disappointing. The unit was not clean upon arrival, and several maintenance and cleanliness issues were immediately noticeable.Although the property had central heating, it did not have central air conditioning, making the apartment uncomfortably hot. The small window air conditioning unit in the kitchen was insufficient and did little to cool the space.Basic necessities were also lacking. No hand soap was provided in the bathroom, and there were no cleaning supplies available, such as disinfectant spray, a broom, or other items needed to maintain cleanliness during our stay. We were forced to use the provided dish soap for multiple purposes.Additionally, the bathroom shower contained hair upon arrival, indicating it had not been properly cleaned between guests. The blinds throughout the apartment were broken, the carpets were heavily soiled, and the couches and chairs appeared dirty and worn.Overall, the property is in serious need of updates, deep cleaning, and furniture replacement. Based on the condition of the unit, I do not believe the listing accurately reflects the quality that guests should reasonably expect.

Everything was extremely clean . The host & wife were very helpful and very nice during our mishap but handled everything perfectly and in a timely manner as best they could . Highly recommend this property & again it’s EXTREMELY CLEAN . I’m putting emphasis on that because I’ve been to plenty rentals who don’t care . I appreciated their patience . 10/10

We stayed there three nights. There were three guests. I made that very clear. Two adults one child. There were no washcloths there were two towels and we stayed there three nights I don't understand why there wasn't more towels available. The cops stopped us on the way into the house and asked us why we were staying there? Because what was listed wasn't what we got. We were in the ghetto an unsafe neighborhood. Yet we were told there was a cozy two bedroom apartment. I felt very unsafe. The floor was disgusting it was like nobody swept or mopped underneath the beds underneath the furniture it was disgusting. There was pubic hair and hair in the shower when we got there it was awful. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

We arrived at the property late around 1am. The place is in a very sketchy neighborhood and we had trouble getting in. The locks were confusing. The entryway was filled with junk. Went upstairs to the apartment. Some effort had been made to make the interior nice. You can see that in the pictures. But the apartment was above 90 degrees. It would have been impossible to sleep there. So we just left and drove several hours back home. There was a small window AC in the kitchen but it had no chance of affecting the temperature in the apartment. Truthfully, we should be refunded our money because we were in the apartment for about 5 minutes total.

Thank you for your feedback, although I must clarify several points for the sake of accuracy for future guests. First, I was not made aware that you chose not to stay in the apartment. Reviews are meant to reflect an actual guest experience, so leaving after only a few minutes does not provide a fair or accurate picture of the property. Regarding the air conditioning: the unit is not a “small window AC” as described—it is a 24,000 BTU system designed to cool the entire apartment. I do apologize that our cleaner did not have it running prior to your late-night arrival, as is normally the case. As for the neighborhood, while it is not behind a gated community, it is SAFE and QUIET. The street is filled with working families. I have hosted many guests here without any issues. Also arriving at (night) 1 am & staying 5 minutes, you didn't get to see that. On the subject of décor, I respectfully disagree with your assessment. I put more than "SOME" effort into furnishing and decorating the apartment thoughtfully, with the goal of making it as welcoming and comfortable as possible for guests. I regret that you did not reach out to me during your brief visit, as I would have gladly addressed any concerns and ensured you had a pleasant stay.

I had to reach out to the host after checking for check in details upon arrival. We were minutes away past check in time and had to wait outside until a response was received. There is only ac in the kitchen I recommend if you book and it’s hot outside be prepared to bring a fan or buy one like we had to 83 degrees in the house while trying to get dressed for our function was not fun. We took pictures as we do everywhere we stay and the floors were dirty, there was obvious trash of a party prior to our stay, smoke detector sitting on top of a shelf without batteries, the couch could use some cleaning and the ottomans are not fully intact. There were only 3 chairs for dinning and one chair is broken which leaves only 2. Blinds are broken in bedrooms and curtains are see through so at night you will not have privacy. When contacting the host they were willing to send someone to clean but we were not available to be there my service was not the best to send all pictures I had but what did send I was told “it doesn’t look like much”. I was also told by the host my list of concerns were dramatic Jay was very dismissive and unprofessional. Kitchen was clean there weren’t any paper towels or kitchen towels. Also, only two towels and wash clothes are provided. This was a horrible experience for my family and I and we made the best of it. I didn’t appreciate the dismissive and rude conversation with host as I respectfully sent concerns.

She got in the house at 3:16 she complained at 8:36 pm I asked for pics she showed me a picture of lint in the corner of the kitchen floor I told her it didn't look like much it could've been swept she sent a pic of a piece of paper or something she said was under the bed. I told her if she report the complaints and leave she can get a refund. If u use the apartment u have to pay.
