I am truly sorry to hear that your recent stay was such a disappointing experience, especially given the various issues you encountered. We understand your frustration with the high noise level. We aim to be transparent about the proximity to the interstate, which is why we mention the noise potential in our listing description and provide a sound machine and ear plugs for your comfort. However, we acknowledge that for some guests, this level of noise is simply too disruptive, and we regret that this severely impacted your ability to rest. We apologize that the sleeping situation for your son did not meet your expectations. The ottoman/sofa bed is marketed as converting to a twin-sized sleeping area, but we understand that the size was inadequate for your son. We regret the inconvenience of having to wait for the cleaner to deliver extra sheets and a blanket, and we are sorry a pillow was not included. The large water leak through the kitchen light was a sudden and unfortunate event caused by an issue on the second floor. This is certainly not a typical occurrence, and we were distressed to hear it compromised your safety and forced you to depart early as 10am the day of your check out. I never thought you wanted to have a compensation for leaving our property one hour early day of your check out, we spoke on the phone and you were understanding of the leaking situation but we never addressed the issues you posted on this review, again I’m really sorry for your experience in my house, and your feedback is highly understandable and appreciated.
