Perfectly located apartment 100 metres from the beach


Holiday apartment with two en-suite bedrooms, a living room with open fireplace,located only a few meters from the golden sandy beach of Forte de S. João. Close to the lively and famous Oura Strip, the long street which runs from Montechoro to Praia da Oura, with its numerous bars, restaurants and night life. There are three local golf courses and a wide choice of water sports and boat trips available in the area. The apartment is fully licensed with the local Council under the Alojamento Local scheme which ensures compliance with safety standards. The kitchen of our apartment has just been renewed and now also offers dish washer, washing machine and a modern look!

Please note:: - The apartment is located on 2nd floor (top) of a building with no lift.
- Please abstain from smoking inside the apartment.
- Use of baby cot free of charge - no linen/towel supplied.
- The amount of € 200,00 might be required in the event of any damage occuring.
- No parties allowed.
- No guest younger than 20 allowed unless accompained by an adult - sorry!
- Arrival hour: any time from 5.00pm and departure hour before 10.00am to allow time to clean and prepare the apartment for the next arrival (unless special arrangments have been agreed).
A 5th person is charged 10% each of the daily rate.
During winter months electricity will be charged according to meters reading.
Long stays possible at special price - please contact owner.

The worst accommodation ever, stinks to urine, very old.

Disappointing Stay in Albufeira - Poor Value for Money** old, bad, stinks. Surprised about good evaluations!!! We stayed (family 4 person) at this vacation rental in Albufeira in summer of 2024, and our experience was very, very bad!!! When you come in you will meet a stench of old furnitures and urinates from the bathroom. Here are the main issues we faced: 1. **Unpleasant Entrance:** Open garbage bins right in front of the entrance 2. **Dirty Parking Area:** The parking lot was frequently littered with dog feces, 3. **Poor Water Pressure:** The water pressure in the bathroom sink was extremely low, making basic hygiene tasks difficult. 4. **Calcium Deposits:** The bathrooms had visible calcium deposits, indicating poor cleaning and maintenance. 5. **Spiders:** We found spider webs in several areas of the apartment, which was both unsightly and a sign of inadequate cleaning. 6. **Dampness in the Children's Room:** The children's room had significant dampness, as shown in the attached photo, raising concerns about mold and health. 7. **Ineffective Windows:** The windows did not block out light or noise, making it difficult to sleep, especially with the loud surroundings. All frames are simple very old. 8. **No Internet Access:** Contrary to the listing, there was no Wi-Fi available in the apartment, which was a major inconvenience. 9. **Electricity Issues:** We experienced a power outage, possibly due to a general city-wide issue, but it had to be manually reset in the

Acogedor lugar muy bien situado

Es acogedor el comedor es amplio tienw una pequeña terraza donde a la derecha se puede uno recrear del ambiente de la zona mientras cena, estába muy limpio y la cocina bien equipada. La playa está muy cerca que además es muy bonita como todas del algarve

Excelente localización

El apto es tal como de describe en la web. Habitaciones amplias, camas cómodas. Muy limpio Buena relación calidad-precio. La localización es lo mejor de todo, no esta en el centro, pero se llega andando perfectamente y esta al lado de la playa. Si no quieres lujos, desde luego, muy recomendable.

Relaxing beach holiday

Clean apartment ,very nice kitchen ,short walk to beach .easy check in Balcony ,washing machine,newly remodeled kitchen ,nice restaurant cafe downstairs,close to markets and other cafes ,good communication with host Bed was uncomfortable for us , host might consider upgrading ? Apartment was mostly quiet ,out of control of the hosts ,there were 2 nights when people from other apartments or properties or cafes ? Were very noisy late into the night Overall convenient ,comfortable stay , iI’m always happy when i can walk out the door and be on beach in a few minutes

Nel complesso un buon soggiorno

Posizione eccellente, vicinissimo alla spiaggia, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla via dei locali e a 15 dal centro storico. Casa accogliente, forse necessiterebbe un rinnovo dei mobili. La pulizia non ottimale al check in, ma niente di grave. Nel complesso un buon soggiorno. Helena sempre disponibile!

A really nice place!

The apartment is perfectly located. It's far away enough from the city centre and the noise but you can be there within a 15-20 minutes walk if you want to.The very clean and nice and not too crowded beach is only 3 minutes away and there are grocery stores and a bigger shopping mall in walking distance als well. The apartment was very clean and had everything basic we needed, the owner responded really fast when we had questions and always tried to help. We also never had a problem finding a parking space near by. There are 2 main things I could think of to improve the stay. First of all the bed was really hard. I know you have to meet a lot of expectations and deal with a variety of peoples weights and sizes but a softer mattress would be great and make a big difference. The TV only had portuguese channels which is fun for a while but some more international options would be great.

Logement propre, bien équipé et bien situé, presque pieds dans l'eau. Parkings gratuits à côté de la résidence. Propositions d'amelioration: lave linge et climatisation vivement souhaitables.

Great Stay in Albufeira

We have a pleasant stay in this Appartment. Nice and clean with only a five Minute walk to the beach. There are small markets around where you can buy everything you need. It´s a 25 minutes walk to the City of Albufeira where you can find a lot of Restaurants and where you can join the nigthlife. Helena is a very nice and helpful Person. She helped us with the Transfer from the Airport and if there was an question she answered immediately. Hope we can come back next year for a longer stay.

Good apartment, great location

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. The apartment is quite small, but this is not that big of a problem, since it had everything needed. Also, the fact that it has two bathrooms was convenient. The biggest plus of this apartment was its location. It was a minute walk to the beach and is located between the old city center and the new "strip" so that is was possible to walk to both of these locations. The host, Helena, was also quick in responding questions and emails. Overall we had enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment!

Ideal Location

Just arrived back (26th June 2010) having spent a week on the Forte.Apartment is ideally situated for beach lovers (5 min walk).A few bars and restaurants on the Forte and only 15 mins walk from the strip where there are hundreds of bars and restaurants,also this apartment has access to a pool (2 mins away).Apartment is clean and is ideal for 4 people but if there are 5 or 6 people then as you only use apartment (more often than not) for sleeping this should not be a problem.Also,the owner Helena is easily contactable should any problem arise.Would definitly use this apartment again .
