Perfectly located near the major parks (Disney, Universal, Sea World, etc.) and you can't beat the price. The pool and hot tub were great for cooling off and relaxing after long days of walking. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing backyard!!!

Home was just as like the photos the back yard was our absolute favorite will stay here again when visiting this part of Florida. Only minutes from sea world and Disney.

Nice house and nice location

Nice house in a nice location, really close to all the main attractions in Orlando. Fab pool with a fantastic view perfect for seeing the sun rising.

Lovely property in a great location

We had a great stay at the property! It's in an ideal location just 10 minutes walk from shopping and in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. It is dated in places and could do with some modernisation but it was clean and everything worked. The pool and hot tub in particular were great with a lovely view onto the lake. We had a couple questions and issues that Holly the property manager was very quick to resolve which was great. I'd highly recommend if you're after a property at an afforable price and close to the major attractions and aren't interested in modern appliances. Overall a really great property.

Close to all the area attractions was a big plus to us

The house was clean. The pool and hot tub were great. The wi fi was excellent. I would stay here again but we did find it a bit irritating that the house only had 9 towels for six of us. Most of them were dingy and thin. Also the kitchen supplies were limited. No drinking glasses that weren't plastic, the few cutting knives were dull. These aren't big issues i know but it seems like it wouldn' t take much to make the improvements to add to the comforts of guests.

Functional but not the best neighborhood

Overall the house could use updated bathrooms but was functional. There were a lot of areas that looked to need maintenance but as renters didn't affect us other than visually. Neighborhood left a lot to be desired. At the main intersections to get to where the attractions are there were multiple people walking up to the vehicles asking for money or food and offering to wash our vehicle windows, we didn't use the park in the HOA because there were shopping carts filled with trash and clothing outside the gates. We could hear the neighbors arguing in the evening but for a place to rest our heads between visiting disney parks it was sufficient.

Response to Kristens Review Thank you for your review Kristen, we never like a guest to be disappointed with their experience and take all reviews seriously. This is the first time that we have had a review of this nature on our Waters Edge home and the surrounding area and will investigate further. The homeowner is in process of carrying out updates and cosmetic maintenance to the areas of both the interior and exterior during the coming months so that their guests can enjoy all this home has to offer. Good value

The house is very conveniently located near the WDW property, took us less than 20 mins driving time to the farthest point (Magic Kingdom guest area). The check in process was a little bumpy but swift actions by Mary resolved our issue. The house is in need of some upgrades, the furniture and rugs are a little outdated, but it is clean. Wifi and TV worked great. The water pressure was also very good and the hot water was plentiful, with four people showering in a row we did not run out once. The new washer/dryer were fabulous. We had some issues with the AC and the pool that were resolved VERY quickly. The house definitely needs a Keurig! Master bed could stand to be replaced, it's a bit hard. The vertical blinds also could stand to be replaced as well. The only weird thing to me was that this is not just a rental home neighborhood, there are many full time residents here, not that it impacted us at all. Lastly we didn't see any fireworks from the property, but I didn't expect to as I was aware of the distance to the WDW resort area. All this being said, I would definitely stay here again, even if nothing was upgraded.

Dirty, roaches, rundown

We arrived on Saturday afternoon, 10/12. Woke up Sunday morning to smoke alarm battery low chirping noise. Called management company. Since it was Sunday no one wanted to come change batteries. Took 3 phone calls then finally someone came. I also asked if we could change rental houses since this house is dirty and full of roaches! They said I had to wait till Monday when the office opened. Monday comes no one calls us. (No one has yet to call us to apologize for the condition of this rental). Holly replied to the email I sent and “apologizes” for the unit but they have no where else for us to stay. I was offered a refund of 1 nightly fee. They replaced smoke alarm Monday and sprayed for pests. Although I was accused of being a liar because apparently the previous people didn’t see any roaches. I have pics and videos! Everyday we seen alive and dead roaches. I even have a video of ants eating on a dead roach. There was also a frog and lizard in the house. Now let’s talk about how dirty this house is. I have pictures of the mold on every single register. There’s a layer of dust around the baseboards. The carpet is disgusting. We wouldn’t even take our shoes off. Mold on shower curtain. Then there’s the pool. It’s more run down than the pictures show. It needs a deep clean or resurfacing. Missing tiles. Furniture is run down and old. Master bed was hard and uncomfortable. Crappy towels and 2 wash cloths. As for seeing fireworks from pool, you’ll see them through the trees, far, far away. Total disappointment for my daughters. And then there’s the neighbors on the right. Either them or their visitors will leave the car running and blare the radio at all times of day and night. The neighborhood did not feel safe. We ended up leaving our vacation a day early. I couldn’t handle the roaches and ants anymore. I’ve rented numerous homes and condos in Florida and have never had this issue. I will not rent this house, will never recommend this house, and will not rent from any home from this management company. Please beware when renting this house! The pictures are deceiving!! It is nowhere as nice as it looks!

We are sorry to hear about the disappointment with your stay. Thank you for allowing us to respond to this review. Your comments do come as a surprise considering the feedback we typically receive about this home which has been listed for many years and we have never received such a review. As the property manager was unable to reach you by phone a follow up email was sent out directly on Monday morning to discuss your concerns. Our management team responded quickly and professionally to your concerns but at no time were you "accused of being a liar". Documented is the initial contact with our emergency on call operator at 8:27 am on Sunday October 13. The owner of our company personally went out to the home to address the chirping smoke detector within 3 hours of the call. He rectified the chirping, advised that maintenance and pest control would be out on Monday. The office staff would contact you to discuss if relocating to another home would be possible. He left the property at 10:51 am Sunday October 13. Pest Control is contracted on all of our homes are serviced on a regular basis. This is not to say insects cannot make their way into any home considering our climate. Housekeeping, the previous guest and the pest control technicians that serviced the home on Monday could not see any visible issues but regardless treated the home. The video you sent with one flying insect is not something we can prevent from getting in even with the door open for only a few moments. With regards to any housekeeping issues you noticed when any guest is unhappy we will send staff back to the home immediately to rectify so again it was unfortunate you did not return the manager's call. The manager also attempted to refund a full night stay as your first day of vacation was interrupted for those few hours Sunday morning. The pool is serviced on a weekly basis. With our rainy climate dirt can collect in the pool between services. We did advise of the weekly service day in an email. With regards to safety ,we have never had any safety issues with this vacation home. There are regulations within the community for noise complaints and there is an active HOA with noise ordinance that are enforced by the local code and police enforcement. Again we are disappointed you did not enjoy your stay.

Great place

First time renting this home. Me and my spouse only stayed at this home however it was perfect! This house hands down had the best housekeeping service by far. We've rented a handful of vacation homes in Fl and by far the cleanliness was top notch! The master bed was so comfortable to sleep in. It felt like you was sleeping on clouds. Rooms were comfortable in size. The only down (at least to me) that in the master bathroom it only has a shower and I would of like a bathtub in there(I love taking baths) But the other bathroom has a bathtub so I used that one instead. Quiet neighborhood. The interior of the house was very nice furnished and again very clean. The pool was great also. Loved this place. I would recommend this place 10/10. It is very close to 192 and shopping places as well.

The location was quiet! Spacious house, loved the kitchen, the highlight was definitely the pool area! Wished the jacuzzi was actually a jacuzzi! No jets! We had an amazing stay and would do it again!

Not very clean

The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but the house was not cleaned properly. There was toothpaste residue on the bathroom faucet and we swept up quite a bit of dirt off the floor. The towels we were supposed to use had a funky smell. We washed the towels & cleaned up a bit so we could enjoy our stay. Not sure who they pay to clean, but if I was charged f or cleaning, I was overcharged. Shouldn't have to do this on my vacation. Batteries were dead in master bdrm tv remote. Once we took care of some of those issues, we were able to somewhat enjoy our stay.

Great Location, but house needs maintenance

This house is in close proximity to the Disney parks, only 2-3 miles. It is located in a residential neighborhood among every day people, not other vacationers. It was quiet and peaceful to sit in the back by the pool and to watch and listen to the ducks. The surface of the house appeared clean, however, looking high we noticed the A.C. registers were pitted with black spots and rust spots, the light fixtures appeared very dusty as well as the baseboards. Outside the cushions on the furniture by the table had an odor of vomit/mildew on them. I did call maintenance about the dust and registers issue as well as a toilet issue we had and they advised they have a heavy cleaning scheduled and also those registers were going to be taken care of as well as the toilet repairs to the master bath. The kitchen is well equipped with all needed to prepare meals, which was convenient for us and there was nice dining area to sit. The house would be perfect with a little TLC and some updated furnishings/carpet.

A little bit of heaven

Lovely clean spacious home with all the practicalities and facilities of home from home. Great outside pool area with superb view of lake. Great location, close to Disney and just 15 minute drive to SeaWorld, IDrive etc, very close to shops and restaurants, Old Town and Celebration. Thumbs up for management company who dealt with a slight issue with the pool straight away.

property was clean and well kept. pool needed a little attention because of rain i assume.hot tub was very relaxing. we enjoyed the ducks in the pond. watching sun rise in the morning was great

Was very nice

Was nice and convenient but a lot of the outlets didn't work and the shades needed to get updated there old and kept on falling off. Also beware of lots of lizards there was one where in the room

I am sorry you didn't contact us during your stay as the outlets are tied in with wall switches so this could have been resolved quickly. Loved the pool...wish the house was cleaner

The property and amenities were perfect and price was great! Was not as clean as I expected especially since they charge a cleaning fee with total price. When the baby would crawl on the floor she would have black hands and knees from how dirty it was. Property was older than the pictures show. Neighborhood did not feel very safe. Pool was amazing and the kids never led the it!! Wish there would have been some cleaning supplies available and basic household items like extra toilet paper, paper towels, aluminum foil so we didn’t have to purchase them for our short stay. Management staff was very helpful when I callled regarding the temperature of the pool.
