Welcome to Waterworks Lake! Nestled on the edge of a beautiful nature preserve, our spacious 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom home offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Just a short hike from your doorstep, explore a serene trail leading to a peaceful 10-acre lake, ideal for nature lovers, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiasts.

This inviting retreat features two master suites on the first floor, ensuring privacy and convenience for guests. The family room, complete with an electric fireplace, provides a cozy gathering space for relaxation after a day of exploration. Enjoy friendly competition in shuffleboard or air hockey in the game room or unwind on the patio with outdoor dining options, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.

As the sun sets, gather around the outdoor firepit, where seating invites you to share stories and create lasting memories under the stars. Plus, with the famous Ark Encounter just 5 minutes away and the Creation Museum only 45 minutes away, you’ll have the best of both nature and adventure at your fingertips.

Whether you're here for the Ark or to immerse yourself in nature, our home is the perfect sanctuary for your next family vacation or group retreat!

Please note that we do charge a $20/person/night fee for parties over 8 people. We do this to keep our prices low for smaller groups that want to stay with us. Please let us know if you have any questions.

We use an electronic lock that generates a special code for guests to access the house.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and very well maintained, with a thoughtful layout that made everything easy and comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the space. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We would absolutely recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Our family had a great stay - this house was so very nicely furnished and clean! Bathrooms were gorgeous, bedrooms wonderfully decorated. For our family it was perfect to have two 'master' suites. The kids spent most of the time downstairs (the massive sectional was great), and we could have a quieter time upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels in kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the hike down to the lake. Actually caught a little bluegill - kids were thrilled with that. Played in the massive side yard, and we had a really good time just sitting around the firepit. So convenient to the downstairs back door. Opa's Pizza was EXCELLENT. Thank you for a wonderful trip - just right for my 91 year old dad's birthday!

The property was Perfect! We had 8 adults, 2 kids - 9 and 6, 2 babies - 11 months, 9 months.We used the fire pit area, grill, outdoor space for family pictures, table for family meals and games.Conveniently located to the Ark. Host was very responsive to any questions. Would visit again!!

Our family of 11, ranging in ages from 68-10 just spent four nights at this beautiful home. We traveled there to visit the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. It's abour 45 minutes from the Museum and 6 minutes from The Ark. There are a variety of restaurants close by to choose from. This home is outstanding. Our kids especially enjoyed the downstairs game room, as well as playing outside. The area around the fire pit and the side porch are perfect to sit and chat. It's an ideal place for a family to stay. Our family had a wonderful time making memories. Kate adds a lot of extras to make it comfortable and cozy. We would highly recommend this home o anyone.

A lovely, well-maintained house that accommodates extended family. Giant sofa downstairs allowed all 9 of us to comfortably watch a movie one night. Very close to Ark Encounter. It was a most enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing time with my family here, we had all different ages from 76 - 6 that had a great time. Kate was a wonderful host and responded immediately to a question we had, she also provided so many suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the surrounding areas. The house is very large and decorated beautifully! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook/eat with. There were many different places outdoor to sit and relax. We also liked taking a hike down to the lake. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

Delightful Experience/Amazing Property!

Our stay at Kate's house was nothing short of spectacular! The interior is so thoughtfully designed and we had fun picking our favorite bedrooms. There was more than enough space for 10 of us and we felt right at home the moment we walked in. As warm and inviting as the inside is, what also really sets the house apart are the outdoor amenities. There is an awesome firepit area in the backyard, elevated deck with seating, and a beautiful lake right behind the house. We all loved walking the trail, listening to the birds, and seeing all the pretty wildflowers. It was so peaceful. Kate was such a gracious host too. She checked on us and offered ideas for other things to do near Williamstown. The house and property were just perfect and we will absolutely be returning for future visits.
