Internet de alta velocidad, gran terraza en la azotea, dos camas, dos baños.

Nos encantó la naturaleza familiar de este complejo y lo compramos porque amamos el estilo de vida en Italia, y luego lo añadimos (¡la cocina al aire libre es una bendición!).

Estamos agregando Internet de alta velocidad a la propiedad para la temporada 2023 utilizando el servicio Starlink de Elon Musk. Esto proporcionará velocidades de alrededor de 100 mb de descarga, 15 mb de carga. Un imprescindible en este resort. Todos los demás confiarán en el wifi del resort de calidad inferior.

Ubicado a solo 15 minutos del aeropuerto en un área desconocida y muy tradicional de Italia, nos enamoramos de la zona. El hecho de que esta propiedad viniera con todos los beneficios adicionales de piscinas, canchas de tenis, restaurantes e incluso una tienda en el lugar significaba que era perfecta para nuestra familia. Esperamos que lo disfruten tanto como nosotros.

Es un departamento de dos recámaras, dos baños (la mayoría de los departamentos tienen un solo baño) con amplio balcón y terraza en la azotea (del mismo tamaño que el área interna del departamento y viene con un área de cocina al aire libre para que no hay que dejarlo!).

Grande appartemento

We have spent two weeks in this apartment with two couples of middle aged and it was beautiful. A very nice apartment, located in a beautifully landscaped park with two fine swimming pools. The beach is only 500 meters from the apartment and achieve this by running a brilliant beautiful path through a UNESCO protected forest, great! On the roof terras was a new outdoor kitchen with oven and barbecue! Super cozy evenings to sit and enjoy a drink and a snack. The contact with James, the landlord, was perfect. Fast and accurate. We really enjoyed it here! Only One small niggle ..... the entertainer of the adjacent park, can not sing.

There were issues….

…..not least of which was hosts’ demands for extra money for electricity, swipe cards and wrist bands. Fortunately VRBO sorted and stopped it. The apartment is ok, not great but ok. The paintwork and tiling inside is very good but it’s furniture and equipment, particularly the outside furniture (exception being dining table/chairs) is cheap, threadbare and stained; the rattans are all disintegrating, the cushions dire. Amongst a mishmash of kitchen stuff, there is only one stemmed wineglass, no cloths or tea towels etc and no microwave or smoke alarms. Ditto the beds, really cheap uncomfortable mattresses and rough sheets. There are bigger issues; the complex (which is not well maintained with tattered awnings swinging from too many empty properties) is adjoined by 3 others, the closest of which blasts non-stop thumping rapping music 9.30am to past 11.30pm at night…. despite the fact that you are required to abide by a list of rules which include not playing loud music!!! There are no restaurants, cafes or shops in walking distance at all and certainly not in the complex; the nearest restaurant is over 2 miles away and the nearest supermarket is 4miles away, there are no buses and few taxi’s. Pizzo is a €20 cab fare each way. There are 2 good pools BUT BOTH CLOSE BETWEEN 1pm AND 3.15pm!!!. The beach is shingle and at least a 20min walk, not accessible by car! Going in and out of the sea is a perilously serious steep gravel incline, definitely unsafe for children or over 50’s

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, gut ausgestattet und auch geräumig genug für 4 Personen. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine kleine Terrasse mit Abendsonne sowie eine große Dachterrasse mit zusätzlicher Außenküche + Kühlschrank. Die Küche in der Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Man findet alles was man so braucht. Eine, in den Sommermonaten unbedingt notwendige, Klimaanlage ist ebenfalls vorhanden. In den Schlafzimmern gibt es Deckenventilatoren. Die Außenanlagen und Poolbereiche waren in einem gepflegten Zustand. Weiterhin gibt es auf den Gelände einen kleinen Laden. Das Angebot ist allerdings sehr begrenzt. Hauptsächlich Getränke & Süßigkeiten, Eis sowie Croissants. Brot und Brötchen gibt es nicht. Weiterhin gibt es auf dem Gelände eine kleine Pizzeria. Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Essen schmeckt gut. Essenstechnisch ist das auf dem Gelände die einzige Möglichkeit. Es gibt aber in der Nähe noch ein paar weitere Restaurants die man fußläufig erreichen könnte. Mann muss hierzu allerdings auf der Hautstraße entlang laufen. Wir sind meistens nach Pizzo reingefahren ca. 8 km. Auf dem Plaza gibt es zahlreiche schöne Restaurants und Eisdielen, die das berühmte Tartufo anbieten. In der Anlage ist es im wesentlichen sehr ruhig. Der Weg zum ebenfalls gut gepflegten Strandbereich führt durch einen kleinen Pinienwald und ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Da die Anlage aber schon etwas außerhalb liegt, ist ein Auto unabdinglich.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben im Juni zwei Wochen im Apartment von James verbracht und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Appartement ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und insgesamt super ausgestattet. Auch im Küchenbereich hat nichts gefehlt. Sehr geschätzt haben wir die schöne Dachterrasse mit der Außenküche mit Grill . Ein wunderbarer Ort, um die Mahlzeiten und laue Sommerabende zu genießen. Im Appartement gibt es eine Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich und Deckenventilatoren in den Schlafzimmern. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind ausreichend vorhanden. Außerdem gibt es eine Waschmaschine. Wenige Meter vom Appartement befindet sich ein sehr gepflegter Pool. Die Anlage selbst ist insgesamt sehr gepflegt und sauber und kann nur mit einer Chipkarte betreten werden. Den Strand kann man in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß durch ein kleines Wäldchen erreichen. Es sind ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme vorhanden. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren die Pizzeria und der Shop in der Anlage leider noch nicht geöffnet, es gibt jedoch genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Die Animation und die Musik aus der Nachbaranlage sind mitunter etwas nervig, aber durchaus erträglich. Ab 24 Uhr ist Ruhe. Wir möchten uns nochmals bei James bedanken, der ein super Gastgeber ist und uns mit vielen wertvollen Informationen versorgt hat. Birgit und Alex

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir hatten uns ein Jahr lang auf die Ferienwohnung und insbesondere die Dachterrasse mit Außenküche gefreut. Und dann kam Corona ..... Keiner wusste, ob und wann wir wieder nach Italien reisen dürfen, ob überhaupt der Flug stattfindet etc. James war in dieser ungewissen Zeit sehr zuvorkommend und ist uns sehr entgegen gekommen. Erst als wir sicher waren, dass unser Urlaub so stattfinden kann, haben wir den Restbetrag überwiesen. Vor Ort war alles wie beschrieben. Die Küchenausstattung war super, das WLAN hat für Netflix gereicht. Die Dachterrasse haben für zum Abendbrot genutzt und die 2 Terrasse/Balkon zum Frühstück. Das war Urlaub pur. Dank Corona hatten wir die ersten 10 Tage einen sehr ruhigen Aufenthalt und konnten Pool, Strand und die Tennisplätze nach Lust und Laune nutzen. In der letzten Woche hat dann das italienische Hotel nebenan eröffnet. Die Musik tagsüber war etwas eintönig aber nicht weiter störend. Allerdings gab es jeden Abend eine Show. Die war wirklich sehr laut, so dass man die Fenster schließen musste, wenn man seine Ruhe haben wollte. Das ist aber auch der einzige Makel. Vielen Dank noch einmal an James, der die ganze Zeit für uns da war und es uns so leicht wie möglich gemacht hat.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer schwierigen Zeit

Wir waren als Paar mit einer Freundin im Pizzo Beach Club in James Apartment und haben alles sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Ferienaufenthalt benötigt. Da wir als erste nach dem Corona Lockdown eintrafen hatte James uns "vorgewarnt" es könne vielleicht nicht alles 100% sein, doch wir haben nichts vermisst. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen, waren ganz alleine am Pool und unsere Dachterrasse war die schönste der gesamten Anlage. Auch die Lage des Apartements innerhalb der Anlage war perfekt. Wir bedanken uns für diesen Aufenthalt bei James und Familie sowie bei allen Mitarbeitern, ganz besonders Salvatore.

Störender Resort nebenan :-( "sehr Schade"

Klima, Meer und angrenzender Wald waren TOP! Laut Beschreibung und Hausordnung war es nicht erlaubt in der Anlage laut zu sein bzw. Party zu feiern. War auch für uns so i.O. war und wir dachten, wir haben in einer ruhigen Anlage gebucht. Das war jedoch eine Fehleinschätzung! Direkt nebenan befand sich ein Resort, in dem jeden Abend bis spät in die Nacht ==>Party und Karaoke bei voller Lautstärke gefeiert wurde. Eine Unterhaltung auf der schönen Terrasse war fast unmöglich, das geht gar nicht!!! Die sogenannte Rezeption war nicht gerade hilfreich wenn nicht sogar unfreundlich. Zum Appartement: Die Beschreibung war zwar o.K., jedoch sind die Wohnung sowie die Möbel in die Jahre gekommen und benötigen dringend eine Renovierung. Die Dachterrasse ist eigentlich sehr schön, besonders die Außenküche. Ich kann nur nicht verstehen, dass man eine so hochwertige Einrichtung nicht gegen Regen schützt z.B. mit einem Dach anstelle der vorhandenen Abschattung, schade!

Family holiday

We enjoyed a lovely holiday with our 16 month old. The property was spacious, well-equipped and in a peaceful location. Two good pools on site and local town's to visit. October weather was amazing.

Nice apartment in quite noisy environment

Very spacious apartment close to a beautiful beach. The equipment needs a bit of refreshing (especially the chairs and beds on the roof terrasse). During our stay (beginning of August) there could be heard a noise from neighbouring resorts, every afternoon and evening, till 1 am. Other than that we were happy with the apartment.

Was een heerlijk appartement dankzij het dakterras. Zwembaden en Zee zo dichtbij is top. Elke avond harde muziek naastgelegen ressort,is wel een minpunt. En dat de vuilnis een hele week niet wordt opgehaald is ronduit vies en geen fijne aanblik bij binnenkomst.Verders was het appartement dik in orde.

Very nice appartment in a good holiday vilage

We've stayed in the property for the new year 2019. The property is very nice, very well equipped with everything needed for the stay. The village was almost empty, so we had the sports grounds all for us. My son was very pleased and spent a few hours on the football pitch and tennis courts every day. The local produced food is very tasty and relatively cheap. Would go there again.

Family apartment with stunning rooftop kitchen

The three of us (two adults and our 16 month old son) had a lovely time at Pizzo Beach Club. The apartment is very well equipped including entertainment options for us and plenty of toys for our little one. The rooftop kitchen and Barbecue is a highlight, were we enjoyed many sunset evening meals. The resort is about 15 Minutes away from the airport and another 15 Minutes from the city of Pizzo. There is a beach nearby wich can be reached by foot in about 10 Minutes. We were traveling in the end of October, so the Resort was not busy at all. Unfortunately the Pools are already closed at this time of the year. James was a very good host who did everything in his power to ensure we have a pleasant stay. We highly recommend this apartment especially for families with one or two children.

Sehr entspannter Urlaub

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in der Wohnung,die sehr gut ausgestattet ist, nichts hat gefehlt. Zum Pool sinds nur ein paar Schritte,das Meer ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Einzig die laute Musik aus dem Nachbarresort hat gestört

Very close to pool and great roof terrace!

Great apartment, good space and facilities. We really valued the air conditioning in the lounge/kitchen area and good fans in the bedrooms. The roof terrace doubles the living space, with half sunny and half shaded all day. 2 minute walk to a nice pool with sunbeds and parasols and 10 minute walk to the very quiet beach with loads of sunbeds and parasols. We drove up into the hills to a High Ropes centre, hired sea pedalos just 5 mins away, and drove along the coast to Pizzo and Tropea, which are both full of character. We felt we saw 'Italy' rather than a touristy resort area, which was nice. We watched some amazing sunsets over the sea :-) The owner, James, was very helpful with my questions in the lead-up to going.

LOVED the roof terrace kitchen........

We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed ourselves. The weather was beautiful and the apartment excellent. The roof terrace kitchen was a god send and evenings spent up there cooking on the barbecue (and cooker) a joy. Really enjoyed travelling out to local towns and markets as well - a really great base to set your travels from....

Wonderfull location

We stayed at the apartment with 2 children for 1 week and had a great time. The swimmingpool, walking distance to the beach, nice places to visit in the area, good weather and last but not least the beautiful apartment. It was clean, everything we needed was there and the roofterrace was super. The contact we had before arrival and the information received was also very possitive and we had a nice welkom there. Perfect apartment for our stay in Pizzo.

Highly recommend this apartment. Just the right amount of space for 2 couples. Loved the rooftop and location; close to Pizzo and Tropea. Great welcome and no issues. Too cold for the beach and pool but both looked amazing. Thank you James. Hope to be back soon.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Dachterrasse

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön, besonders die Dachterrasse ist ein Highlight. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage mit Fußweg zum Strand ist toll und jetzt im Oktober war es angenehm ruhig in der Ferienanlage.

Wir haben ein paar wunderschöne Tage in dieser schönen Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und bietet Komfort. Der Privatstrand ist fußläufig durch den Pinienwald erreichbar. Der Vermieter stand stets zur Verfügung und hatte uns vor der Reise sehr nett kontaktiert, vor Ort wurden wir durch einen Vertreter äußerst nett und willkommen empfangen. Fantastisch ist die große Dachterrasse mit Außenküche, Tisch & Stühle und den Loungemöbel. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl!

Great apartment

October break

We spent 8 days in This apartment....four of us..two middle aged couples. The apartment was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The roof terrace with outdoor kitchen was very handy and a great space to relax in the October sunshine. James had informed us that the facilities On site would be very limited but that suited us as we enjoy the peace and quiet and enjoy sourcing and cooking the local produce and visiting the local towns. We had never visited this part of Italy before so we explored with our hire car all the villages and towns around. We had a relaxing holiday. James and his local agents were only an email away if we needed assistance. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

The Wonderful Place to Stay

We can only recommend this modern, comfortable apartment with beautiful roof terrase that is ideal for glass of wine in the evening and where is the strongest wifi signal if you have a teenager.... We spent there two lovely weeks. The resort is suitable whether you prefer not to travel too much - there are two nice swimming pools and easily reachable sandy beach, or a good base for your trips. We loved the most Tropea, Scilla and the beach Grotticelly. We also appreciated that the contact with James, the landlord, was always fast and helpful. We really enjoyed our holiday! J+I+I

I used to work in the Overseas property industry and it took me 7yrs to find an area quite like this. Pizzo Beach Club in particular offered everything I could have wanted from a holiday rental. I could have purchased in many countries and on many resorts but this one was perfect for us.

I have never regretted it for a second.
