This home is a standout! We invited our 3 adult children and their six and under kiddos (our 4 precious grandchildren) for Thanksgiving away from the routine. We have spent vacations together before, but we’ve never experienced a home like this. The hosts set us up with a holiday cookie-making station, a s’mores station, a plate of donuts, libations, lemonade and snowcone making supplies, and board games and puzzles to play in a fabulous game room after the littles went to bed. Each family had great space for fun and sleeping. The hosts were super responsive. The house is on a gated lot with house managers in separate quarters on the large property. We enjoyed a beautiful Thanksgiving meal prepared in the nicely-appointed kitchen, watched the Macy’s parade, Westminster dog show and many football games on large screen TVs in multiple rooms, watched the sun set on the dock and sat around the fire pit. So many nice touches to mention them all. The kids entertained themselves in the fun bunk room. We all felt right at home. My only complaint is we didn’t stay long enough to do everything! Enjoyed a drive in movie, Revolver Brewery and gorgeous Granbury Square. We will be back in warmer weather to enjoy the waterfront more. We enjoyed it through the picture windows and deck. So peaceful and safe and comfortable.

Relaxing weekend with the family.

Spent four days here with adult children and friends. The house is amazing! Spacious with plenty of room for all including several bathrooms. Gated with lots of parking out front, television in every room, and the host family put out several welcoming treats. The back patio is nicely shaded, we sat out there alot and enjoyed the birds and lake views. Air conditioning kept the house at 68 degrees the entire time. It's a good walk down to the dock with several steps (50) but they are layed out in a switchback fashion to cut down on fatigue. The dock and jetski were a highlight for everyone with plenty of gas ready to go. We would happily stay here again.

Better than we even hoped

From the first communication Chris was very accommodating and friendly. He answered all my questions very quickly and I could tell he wanted us to have everything we needed and more. We met Ronda when we arrived at the lake house and like Chris she was amazing and walked us through the house with instructions and showed us amenities that we were not expecting at all. The bunk room was filled with all sorts of things the kids could do even a tv with couch and snacks. The rest of the house was immaculate and well furnished; nicely decorated and very comfortable. Beds were awesome and I heard no complaints, not even from the ones with bad backs. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook and serve your group. Plenty!!The extras were just too numerous to list and I wouldn’t list them anyway as they are such a pleasant surprise to find when you arrive. The dock was great. We rented the Seadoo and tethered a swim mat we had brought with us for the kids to play on and for adults to relax. The steps to the dock are made of rock with a railing and built in a switchback manner so they are not too steep. No one had any problems. I really enjoyed the stay there and the lake is full this time of year. So glad I found it for our vacation.

What a wonderful home, we had such a great time! The hosts of this home deserve more than 5 stars for being so welcoming! When we arrived there was tea, lemonade, delicious snacks, it was better than any VRBO we’ve ever stayed at!The decor is Texas style and we’re Texans so we loved it!We spent a ton of time of the back porch with our gkids and family, last night we ran around the yard chasing fire flies! We played cards at the game table, and the tv screens in all the rooms were perfect when you needed a quick break to relax.We highly recommend this getaway, it really helped our family to connect and we’re so thankful to have had such a relaxing experience!Thanks so much, we will come again!!

Memorial Day weekend

Great weekend getaway the place was very clean they welcomed us with some goodie’s it had everything you think of you forgot your shampoo no worries they had it there ,and if you got tired of being in the sun they have a lot games. Too much fun not enough time I can go on on about this place it was amazing

Weekend trip

We stayed here when we went to visit my nephew and his family. Very spacious, enough beds for our group. It was clean and so fresh. We are not use to the humidity but when you would go inside you could feel the coolness inside. That is a very big deal for me lol. We rented the jet ski and or kids really enjoyed it. When we tented the jet ski the property manager called me and was very polite and respectful. We will definitely stay here again when we go back!!
