The space
The house is a very comfortable and spacious 1,220 square foot three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with beautiful hardwood floors in all areas of the home. The kitchen has new appliances and is fully equipped for any cooking you may want to do during your stay. This home has been completely renovated from the flooring to the bathrooms! Brand new HVAC to keep you comfortable regardless of whether it's hot or cold outside.

AMENITIES: bedding, linens, towels, hairdryer, shampoo, and conditioner are all on hand for your use as well as all the other usual amenities you would anticipate having in a hotel.

A Washer/Dryer (limited laundry detergent is available). Free WiFi internet, Netflix & Amazon Prime (all TVs), Antenna with basic channels (living area), microwave, and a drip pot coffee maker is supplied with coffee. Additionally, various teas, sugar, and powdered creamer are provided when available.

House was as advertised. Excellent communication with host with easy check in. Kitchen only has microwave but worked for our needs. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Close to Texas Tech and places to eat.

The house was as explained. The host was attentive to our needs and answered quickly. Clean house, comfortable beds and good showers. Be aware the hot water heater works great. Overall it was an inexpensive place to stay while visiting family.

Unfortunately, the first bathroom had a bit of a smell and the toilet in the master bath had trouble flushing. Also, we had to go searching for towels and did find them in the dryer. Otherwise, it was comfortable enough. We did appreciate having a place to stay for the night that was able to accommodate the 5 of us in 3 separate rooms but atill be able to hang out together in the living room.

I would not recommend staying here. The house is located in a bad neighborhood, and the burglar bars on the back window made me feel unsafe right away. There was about a one-inch gap around the front door frame, which made the place feel insecure and poorly maintained.The mattress was ripped, and there was trash in the backyard, which made the property look neglected and not well cared for.Because I did not feel safe, I left the next day and did not stay the rest of my reservation. I did not ask for a refund for the night I stayed, only for the nights I did not stay, but the host refused to refund them. She also waited until after checkout time to respond to my messages and then tried to charge me a 27 late checkout fee, even though I had already explained that I left early due to safety concerns.When I brought these issues to her attention, the host was rude and dismissive instead of helpful.I am very grateful for VRBO customer service for intervening and helping resolve the situation.Overall, this was a very uncomfortable experience, and I would suggest others stay somewhere else if safety and communication matter.

This house was absolutely FILTHY!! Somehow I missed the pictures posted from someone last month or I definitely would not have stayed here. It does smell like cigarette smoke throughout the house but esp in the primary bedroom. There’s panels missing on the hot water heater/furnace closet. Big safety hazard if you have little kids. The gap all around the front door. The whole house needs a good cleaning and paint job. Stains on rugs. No way the carpets are cleaned monthly. Dirty baseboards. I could go on and on. The primary shower works good but it drains very slow. Dirty shower too. See other pics from someone else’s stay. Her pics are very accurate. This place is just gross!! Would NOT recommend!! Budget friendly shouldn’t mean DIRTY!! And there’s some homeless people that like to hang out at the convenience store a few doors down. No one bothered us but they were around.
