This residence is available exclusively through Gilson Property Group — a professional hospitality team based in Breckenridge. Every stay is prepared and managed to the same standard: white-glove cleaning, quality linens, and responsive support throughout.
Prior to arrival, guests complete a brief identity verification through our guest portal — a valid driver's license and rental agreement are required to receive access credentials and finalize check-in. A refundable $250 access credential deposit is required at this property, covering key cards and parking passes issued at check-in, released in full upon return of all access items at checkout. We had a mixed experience staying at this property, and there are a few important issues future guests should be aware of.The listing advertised “2 Reserved Heated Garage Spaces,” however upon arrival we were informed that only one vehicle is allowed in the garage.There were also unexpected additional charges at check-in. We were required to pay two separate deposits — one at booking and an additional deposit in order to receive the keys. These fees were not clearly disclosed upfront in the listing. When we contacted VRBO, they confirmed that all required fees should be disclosed at booking, and this situation did not align with their policy. While the deposit was eventually refunded, it created unnecessary stress and confusion at check-in.The check-in process was also impacted by a timed lockbox, so coordinating arrival time is important. The host did offer a one-hour early check-in and late check-out, which was appreciated.Inside the unit, there were a few maintenance and comfort issues:The stove was missing a knob (reported and not charged)The ice dispenser was overly aggressive and made a mess immediatelyPillows were very flat and uncomfortableOnly two bathrobes were provided for a group of 4On the positive side, the unit itself was clean, and the host did not attempt to charge us for the maintenance issue.Overall, the location is excellent, but inaccurate listing details and requirement to pay multiple deposits made this stay more stressful than expected.

A few clarifications for future guests:
• Parking: The reservation includes one reserved heated garage space, and this was communicated prior to check-in so expectations were clear before arrival. Additional parking, when available, is managed separately by the building/resort and cannot be guaranteed.
• Deposits / “additional charges”: We do not add surprise fees at check-in. For contactless check-in, we require a card on file for a refundable incidentals authorization, similar to a hotel. This is not an extra fee, and it is released after checkout, assuming no damage or missing items (release timing depends on the bank).
• Comfort items: We’ve already upgraded the pillows. We also provide a standard set of robes, and additional robes can be provided upon request when needed (subject to availability).
• Maintenance notes: We appreciate the specifics. The missing stove knob was replaced, and the ice dispenser issue has been addressed.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue tightening listing clarity and pre-arrival communication so guests can book confidently and arrive with the right expectations.
