Full of (not good) surprises
The house itself is great, clearly a lot of thought was put into the decor. The yard is huge, but it is shared with the downstairs guests and the kitchen’s huge windows and hallway’s back door have no curtains, so be prepared to have people around the yard watching in as there’s no way to get some privacy when they’re out there. The driveway is also shared and only fits one car, which is first come first serve, otherwise park on the street. That was a surprise. Also we had several people walking around the yard for whatever reason, so it’s a pretty busy yard, don’t expect any privacy in it. Not a complete turn off, but a heads up would’ve been nice. We’ve found things different that they were when we left the house in the morning, but the host said “nobody entered”, which I know cannot be true, then he tried to blame it on my dog that maybe she moved things around, and, honestly, it was a very unnecessary, unprofessional and rude back and forth from then on. I felt very unsafe and almost left sooner, but I had a job to finish in the area so I sucked it up and stayed put. I was scared for my dog as she was acting weird and was in pain when we came back home, but I didn’t bring my camera this time around to know exactly what happened. Again, the house is great, but Andrew, the host, was extremely rude, so unless Maria steps in to deal with guests (and hopefully does a better job doing so), I would not recommend this house nor would I come back here again.
