No handicap ramp for me as 100% disable veteran for first 3 days,no instructions for wifi people at Yellow Rose reality were very helpful in getting me a ramp to. Get ln on the porch, but had use walking cane in the house,,cabin should be listed As none handicap accessible

Great location if visiting Bryson City or surrounding areas. Easy access to major roads in the area. Zero signal at location for cellular service but a short mile trip up the road you can get signal. Location of this rental is right on the road, front door is truly about 20 ft from road, traffic isn't horrible on the road though. Front cement porch spans length of home, side yard with fire pit is nice, other side of home is driveway and parking area which has plenty of space for parking and turning around without having to back out onto road. Back of home features a deck, small table with four chairs and a weber charcoal kettle grill. The steps off the back deck takes you right down to the river just as described in the pictures. Overall nice place to stay with a good price. Only thing we did not like was dog hair on the leather sofa and chair, probably could have been overlooked by cleaner but when you allow pets it should be a cleaning priority.

Anniversary trip

The listing description and pictures were true to the property. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Our favorite feature, and the reason we chose the rental, is the back deck with stairs leading right down to the stream.

Wasn’t great but ok

Creek besides cabin was sweet, but road alongside cabin had just enough loud cars and trucks to be a little disturbing, especially if you wanted a nap after a long hike. Cozy Getaway

The perfect place to unwind. The cabin sits between two curves with no other homes in sight. It is 3 miles to downtown Bryson City for grocery, dining and shopping on Everett St. It was relaxing to not be constantly checking phones as no wifi connection. There is a convenience store about a mile away where we parked when needing to reach someone back home. My favorite part was sitting on the back porch and listening to the creek while reading. The cabin is close to the road as described, but we were not bothered by the occasional traffic. The GSMR goes by across the road on the trip to and from Nantahala, but the sound is muffled by the trees. We look forward to a return visit and have already shared with friends.

Cozy Cabin on the creek

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was hair throughout the cabin, to include inside the refrigerator. The bathroom smelled, the grill was unusable due to it having never been cleaned. I asked for the grill to be cleaned and the lady at the front desk assured me that it would be taken care, it wasn't. I had to buy bee spray to take care of a wasp nest in the rotten wood on the back porch. And it's not a secluded cabin the front porch is approximately 6feet from a paved road with a substantial amount of traffic. The cabin also had a real musty smell that remained the whole time we were there.

Didn't stay!

Once we got to the property and saw the area and the cabin itself we got a hotel room, and booked another cabin. So, I paid for two cabins and a hotel room. No, I can't afford it!!! The cabin smelled musty and moldy. I was traveling with my asthmatic daughter. She started having breathing problems before I could even get the place warm. There was only a wood stove type fireplace or electric(the plug in type) heaters to heat the cabin, and a window unit to cool it. The creek was beautiful, but not worth the asthma attack. If you want a musty cabin, without central heat and air, in a questionable area you might like this place. I'm no princess, but for the money you CAN do much better. I ended up in a beautiful cabin by the river for a similar price. It had two bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, modern appliances, central heat and air, and a clean hottub. So, no id never ever book this place again.

Musty Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pictures were a bit deceiving as the deck was quite dirty/etc. and was not at all "inviting" to sit on to enjoy the stream. The worst thing was the musty smell. We went into town and sprayed a full bottle of Febreeze over the two days and barely maid a dent. Very difficult to sleep. The cabin was located not far from town and was very secluded which we were looking for but was perhaps 15 feet from the road. Finally, like many I have to work while on vacation and the WiFi was not working when we arrived but the office was closed for the day. Reported first thing the next morning but when we returned back to the cabin later that afternoon, still no WiFi and was apparent nothing was done. Disappointing as had to drive back to town for signal. I would say the stay was ok but would not return or recommend to a friend.

If being cut off from the world is what you want this is for you

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was horrible. Upon arrival when we entered the cabin their weee dead bugs in the window seal. Spider webs in the corners of the walls and big black ants everywhere. When we walked outside on the back porch over the creek spider webs covered it so we couldn’t enjoy it. Also cabin clearly hadn’t been stayed in for a while because it smelled . No wifi or cell service and the satellite doesn’t work, they do have a landline but it doesn’t work either. I used it to call the office but she said it was going in and out before the call dropped. No one bothered to try to call me back or come out to see what the issue was. You would have thought they would have cleaned and made it presentable knowing someone was coming. Also the queen bed is actually a full. It was a miserable trip and we finally left a day early.

Off the grid and unplugged relaxing time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This small but cozy cabin was perfect for our anniversary trip. The cabin was clean and had all that we needed for a 5 day stay. Plenty of towels, paper towels, and dish soap. The only complaint we had was the master bedroom bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. I recommend a new mattress. The A/C unit kept the place very cool and comfortable even on the hottest of days.
