Welcome to Whitman Brook Overlook, a delightful retreat in Quechee, Vermont, perfect for up to 8 guests. This 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home offers a comfortable and inviting stay for families or groups. The living spaces are designed for relaxation and togetherness. The sunken living room boasts a stunning centerpiece wood stove, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere, and opens onto a private deck with serene views. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a breakfast nook for 4, while the dining area comfortably seats 8. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for added convenience.

The bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged to provide privacy and comfort. On the main level, you’ll find the primary bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, a luxurious retreat with a dual vanity, a standing shower, and a cozy whirlpool tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Vermont. Passing on either side of the home's main fireplace upstairs, the second floor features two bedrooms each with two twin beds and TVs with streaming services, along with a full bathroom between the two bedrooms. On the lower level there is a fourth bedroom with twin beds and a treadmill and a bathroom with a shower.

Each upstairs bedroom also offers a small desk that provides a quiet and comfortable space to catch up on work or stay connected during your stay. However, if you need a remote workspace, there is a full office available with large desk and chair, including your own home away from home office setup. If you're just looking for a quiet space, the office includes two cozy reading nooks, a sofa, and plenty of reading material.

The home has a game room, a vibrant and lively space for endless fun and relaxation. It features a ping pong table, cozy seating, playful college sports-themed decor, and a variety of board games. Adding to its charm is a deck just off the game room, complete with outdoor seating and a dining table, perfect for enjoying the fresh Vermont air.

Guests will also have access to the garage through a mudroom entrance on the lower level. The garage door can be opened from inside the garage and is a perfect place for storing skis retrieved from their car(s) parked just outside the garage. We offer convenient door codes for self-check-in. Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro uses convenient keyless entry for self check-in, details provided 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 3 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.
