Escape from the cool Western NY weather

We wanted to extend our summer and have a beach trip with our 44 pound doodle. This house, street, beach and town was perfect. Not a drop of rain and the beach entrance was literally down the street. We used the wagon, towels and beach chairs that were supplied so each trip was easy. My dog loved walking the 6 nature trails that were all very close to the house as well as the many dog park visits we went to at the North Myrtle Beach Park in Little River. He loved the beach and the ocean too. The beach and neighborhood was so clean, friendly and quiet. The beach grocery store was the cutest store we’ve ever seen with a large selection of ready to eat foods or to order food. The fenced in yard was perfect and the deck and hammock was a big hit. The house was nice, just as listed, with many supplies and items stocked ready to use which was a nice bonus. The communication from start to finish was great and we were treated very well and all our needs were met and/or addressed. We would stay again at this property and definitely look into other properties from this owner if we were to travel with a larger party. Thanks for a nice stay.

This property was excellent for our family. We were out on the deck the majority of our trip enjoying the shade under the big oak tree. It’s majestic at night! The kitchen had everything we needed.

Perfect location!

We wanted to go to the beach and be able to take our dogs. The location was easy to walk to the beach with or without our dogs. It was also close to grocery shopping, dining or browsing. Our dogs loved the backyard and they were very secure back there.

Cozy and fun

The house was smaller than we are used to, but everyone agreed that it was perfect in creating a cozy and intimate place. We are game enthusiasts and hoped we didn’t disturb the neighbors as we played corn hole, ladder and pickle ball in a spacious backyard. One suggestion, is to provide a steady lighting option for those night time activities. The accessibility of the beach is very convenient. Our vacation despite the Ophelia at the end, rates high.

Five stars

Property Manager was wonderful, very attentive, and quick to respond. The deck outside was very nice for when we had cookouts with friends. The beach was a quick walk away, and easily accessible. Everything met our expectations. We would definitely go back. :)

Absolutely perfect!

I can’t begin to complement this property enough! Close proximity to the beach, close, proximity to eating and shopping. It’s perfect for people who take their dogs on vacation. A beautiful back deck with fenced in yard. It takes all the worry out. And the rental comes with a golf cart! We’ve never had a better experience with owners, the property and the location combined. As soon as I walked in the door, I tried to book the property again for the next year, but it was already reserved, I understand why.

Our wedding

My wife and I got married on the beach and were able to have our reception on the back porch. For a year I held on to the dream of dancing our first dance under the lit up tree. This was a wonderful house full of anything you would need to prepare for a wedding reception. The host was available at the drop of a hat. I would recommend this place to anyone

Best Family Vacation Ever!

This house and backyard are stunning. They had everything we could have asked for and more! The property manager was super helpful and did a great job taking care of all of our needs. Comfortably fit our family of 8 with pets by our side. Just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach, highly recommended the cart. If you are hesitating…DON’T….pull the trigger you will not regret it!

Wedding Stay

Loved this house! Great location - in nice area, walking distance to beach, grocery store, local shopping. The house is nicely decorated with all the ammenities anyone could ask for. The back yard and deck is spacious and is really pretty at night with the lit up giant live oak. The host was great responding quickly to all questions i had.We hope to stay here again.

Excellent time.

We add a wonderful time at Cherry Grove. House is just as described. Location is very convenient with the beach in short walking distance. Grocery store is very close which is a big plus. Hope to return soon.

A hidden gem!

Stayed week of July 24th 2022 for 7 nights -- one of the hottest weeks on record. The Live Oak tree in the backyard is unbelievable! It provided the best shade allowing us to spend days and evenings enjoying the beachy breeze from the back yard, whether we we dining al dente (property offers gas grill!), lounging in the (family-sized) hammock, or playing cards/games. Beach is a 3 min walk to the end of the block. Grocery store is even closer! There is an abundance of local restaurants within walking distance and no shortage of ice cream shops. Absolutely recommend this property to anyone interested in a trip to North Myrtle. Hosts were fantastic communicators and property was clean and comfortable! (And Pet Friendly !)

Amazing House

This is an amazing house with fantastic hosts. The house is so close to everything in Cherry Grove and we felt right at home during our stay. The backyard was so much fun to hangout in with the family each night. We can not wait to return. Thanks for sharing this home with our family.

Family vacation

Easy booking, host Pam is very helpful and available for all your questions. Property is lovely and plenty of room inside and back. The house is fully stock with housewares for you to use. Plenty of coffee to choose. Very close to the beach, as well as public access to the beach. Plenty of shops in walking distance. Just love the house and the location.

Short stay, awesome regardless!

We just needed an overnight on our drive from Florida to MD. But wanted to be close to the beach to make a trip there to dip our toes in the Atlantic, and take a nice walk along the beach too, such a easy walk to the beach in the morning. We swing by Platts Seafood to load up some easy cookables in the house kitchen that had everything we needed, and Pam really set us up perfectly. She's so nice, showed us everything we could want or need at the house. Can't say anything negative about our stay, other than we wish we could have stayed longer! Will be back when we get the chance.

Perfect location, perfect hostess!

If you need total darkness (or any darkness) to sleep in, or if you don't want to hear every word uttered and every footfall sounded in the entire house, this is NOT the place for you. But if you are a sound sleeper, and love to greet the morning sun, if you want to be in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from the beach, if you want a fully-furnished kitchen with all the essentials at your fingertips, if you want a hostess who will leave you fresh doughnuts and attend to your every need, than this is your place! We stayed here with nine people across three generations of our family and we had a wonderful week. All the gushing about the backyard in all the other reviews is accurate and well-stated, so I won't repeat it. It is close to mini golf and restaurants, and having beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys provided with the house meant that we could enjoy the beach as much as we wanted with very little effort on our part. Thank you, Pamela, for everything!
