The apartment was beautifully clean and well kitted out. Slavica was an amazing host, giving us lots of information and ideas for where to visit and restaurants to eat at. Communication with her was excellent, she was responsive and friendly both before and during our stay.The view from the balcony really is the same as the picture and fabulous for people-watching over a glass of wine/beer - the balcony is accessed from the main bedoom and you need to move the little table and chair to close the shutters so we chose the other room as it was easier! Note, the main bedroom is acessed through the second bedroom. The kitchen area is small so don't expect to be able to cook much, but it's got a lovely big fridge-freezer, a filter coffee maker, kettle and microwave - and the plethora of bakeries, restaurants and cafes mean you don't need to worry for food. We can recommend the Diana cafe-bar at the Forum, slices of pizza from the the hole-in-the-wall place almost opposite the apartment, Bistro Fabbrica and the Jupiter pizzeria not far from the Arena. And a sunset boat trip (take one of the wooden boats, not the closed-off more modern ones). All of Pula's sights are in good walkable distance from here, making our week's stay lovely.
