Perfect Quiet Getaway

We had the best stay, it was so quiet and peaceful. We got to see some baby dears right in the backyard, it was so cool! The check-in and out process was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, mixing bowls, and cutlery we could need. The owners had a whole book with all the local spots and eateries, which was super helpful. The hot-tub was one of the cleanest I have ever been in. Overall we had the most relaxing stay and didn’t have to worry about anything. Thank you for providing a quiet space to really unwind and recharge.

Thanksgiving Getaway

The house was clean and well kept, very cozy and roomy. The property has a nice view, you see deer the front and back yard, and are able to enjoy a nice hike. I would definitely recommend this property. and the maintenance man is wonderful!!!

Family weekend getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was everything we wanted and expected. Our family had a great time and we plan on doing this again. My only negative comment was the sound system was very complicated to operate and we could not manage to get the deck speakers to work. Even the maintenance man, who arrived quickly after our call for assistance, was unsuccessful. All in all though, we had a great stay. The "secluded" location was perfect.

The add'l beds did not have linens and pillows. The refrigarator is licking water. The hot water is not hot after one shower. The master bathroom's heat in the main level does not work. Beside all of the above, the property is qreat and we had a great time. I liked working with you very much and look forward to future bookings.

This rental house has potential to be a nice property, but it has a ways to go. The front patio entryway is very unappealing. There are gobs of spiderwebs with bugs all over and bird h1! on the wooden railings and bench. When we arrive, the house was set to 62. We had to leave to let it warm up so we set the temp to 72. When we came home the top floor was 80 and the bottom floor was at 70. The HVAC technician was no help. So the top floor is burning up and the bottom floor is so cold. It was so hot in the bedroom upstairs that nobody could sleep in it. We use the three bedrooms on the bottom floor. The bedding in the bottom floor master was horrible. The fitted sheet was so old that it was rough and pilling. It felt like sleeping on sandpaper. Some of the blinds and windows in living room are broken and can’t be used. The directions given for the TVs don’t work. Also, there’s no regular TV, only apps like Netflix, Amazon prime, etc. We wanted to watch a bit of football, but couldn’t because there’s no cable. Rental properties need to have basic cable and not force people to have an accounts to watch something.

It was spacious with a great decor ! My teenagers loved the hot tub & the loft with the pool table . Taylor -Made was very accommodating with any questions I had . We had a great stay ! Love deep creek & would consider using the realtor again . The dryer in this home didn't dry the clothes well but everything was 2 thumbs up. This house is very secluded by the way so lots of privacy. You are in the woods with no other houses around.

First impression was a wild animal ate part of the front door of the house - groundhog, beaver, dog, not sure. Some of the chairs and carpets are stained from the wear and tear of renters and gave it a little dirty feeling. Had to change the dehumidifier every day downstairs but had to figure this out. We had a rainy week and it was very dark and musty downstairs. We called about an issue with the remote, got a little attitude from rental company but they sent someone right out and he was nice. Location - the only house on the entire street which seemed little strange, had to drive everywhere but only took few minutes... Personally, for the price would probably not stay here again because of the location. Had bunk beds, fire pit, hot tub, grill, pool table - everything on our list. Overall nice place.

A great secluded place in the midst of the crowds.

We were overall pleased with our stay. The main reason we picked the property because of its location of less than a mile from the Adventures Sports Center International which ended up being closed. It was also not as expensive as lake front properties. We were less than a 5-10 minute drive to the marina area where all the activities take place and a three minute drive from WISP resort. The property can technically sleep 10 but when we arrived the 10th bed was a blow up mattress without a pump (we had a total of 8 so it did not matter to us). If you have an array of sleeping teenagers , tweens and seniors and parents in their 40's like us you should be aware there are two bedrooms which can sleep two couples. One bedroom which can sleep in the same bed two children or one adult and one bedroom that can sleep another two children and one adult. One of he bedrooms that can sleep two children and one adult is set up as bunk beds. The jacuzzi was not working, but we got a refund of $50 for each day we stayed which was nice but the other part of the reason we picked the house was to enjoy the jacuzzi knowing night life with a family after long days in the sun needs a place to have more quiet fun until the day ends.

We have been going to Deep Creek with our children for over 20 years. We've stayed at 8 different homes and many several times for a few of them. We've had great experiences at all of them until this house. This was a new one for us. The pictures were accurate and it looked beautiful. What you can't know is the bugs in the house. Our son was covered with bug bites in the bunk beds after the first night. Not sure if bed bugs or not. The shingles were falling and hanging off the one roof. The air condition never worked properly and was 90 degrees outside and so was inside the house. The directions never helped us to get any relief from the heat. Very difficult for my 75 year old parents. The screens were never installed in the sun room and we couldn't even enjoy that space. The plexiglass was still in and it was scorching in that space and so many bugs. The hot tub took forever (4 hours) to warm up, lights worked inside it and then didn't. Very limited supplies for guests. Definitely bring extra towels and other necessary amenities. The ones provided very thin and cheap. The living room couch back pillows were falling off and very uncomfortable to sit on. Felt like we were robbed and walked away from this vacation with such disappointment and were embarrassed by our choice of house. Listed as premier chalet, it is not. I hope the notes we left will be taken seriously by Taylor-Made. First time working with them. Never again. We hope future guests will never experience what we did.

This home is secluded and private which was one of the reasons we stayed is the only home on the street. The backyard was enjoyable for outdoor games and campfires. We enjoyed the wildlife we encountered during our stay. This home is welcoming and cozy!

High-Skis' Villa - Feb 9-12

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great except we were greeted with a very nasty dump in the powder room toilet and the water not running. We called and they were able to instruct us on how to turn the water on over the phone, so that was fine, but the dump in the toilet was totally gross. Also since we took this booking over from a friend of ours we didn't do our homework to see if pets were allowed so our friend brought their dog. During an "inspection" the dog was found and we had to pay a pet fee, which we were irritated about but we understood. What we didn't understand was why there was an inspection in the first place. The second day we were there we saw a truck coming down our driveway I'm assuming to complete another inspection and he must have saw that we were home and he turned around. Do you do inspections every day? It's an invasion of privacy and just not cool. What if we were napping naked and didn't hear him come in?

Lukewarm Response to High Skis Villa

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First things first, we were told there would be a Welcome Package upon arrival at the house; there was none. Moving on, we had an issue with a couple of the TV's not working. Management told us they would send a Maintenance technician; that didn't happen. We were looking forward to using the hot tub; it was in no condition to be used (smelled of mildew). There were so many spider webs around that one of my guests actually found a broom and starting removing some of them. One tabletop inside was extremely dusty and one outside clearly had not been wiped off prior to our stay. One of the showers on the lower level did not work at all. The grill had not been cleaned since the last renters. When we tried to lower one of the shades in the lower level common area, it fell off. We were asked to take the trash to a community dump site away from the property. Two of the ladies in our group tried to satisfy this request but could not find the community dump. There was a scratch on the back of one of the chairs in the living room that was not recorded on any paperwork before our stay. There should be a policy in place to clean all properties before a rental group checks in and another to make sure there is a walk-through involving both the renters and Management. We were very pleased with the actual house, but more care and consideration need to be shown if you're going to rent the property. In closing, it is a beautiful house. It simply needs a bit more TLC. Hopefully this review helps.

Great Weekend Getaway

If you are looking to get away with a large group for the weekend, I recommend you check this place out! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the house was nice and the housekeeping was good. The air cond. and thermostats did not work properly. You could not control the temp. in the bottom floor. Either Froze or had to turn it off and sweat! There was an ant problem and we killed ants all week. The outdoor grill was also broken. I called about the air conditioner twice and was told they would send someone out and never did. We would not rent again.
