The space
Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa is one of Ireland's most acclaimed castle hotels, and our holiday home sits within its private grounds. Our guests enjoy easy access to everything the estate has to offer:

The surrounding area
A 4.4km looped walk starts right at the castle car park, taking in Kilronan Forest and the shores of Lough Meelagh — an easy 85-minute circuit with no difficult climbs. Just outside Keadue village, Kilronan Cemetery is the burial place of Turlough O'Carolan, the last of the great Irish Bards. The Arigna Mining Experience offers guided underground tours led by former miners — one of the most distinctive days out in the west of Ireland. Lough Key Forest Park, the River Shannon Blueway, and several golf courses are all within easy reach.
