Located in lovely Parksville, British Columbia on Canada’s stunning Vancouver Island, they don’t call our West Coast the Best Coast for no reason! For those that want the modern conveniences of home, but the coziness of a classic West Coast cottage, this is the vacation home for you.

Located inside Oceanside Village Resort, you will be within a minute or two walking distance from the year-round community swimming pool, specialty shops, world class Tigh-Na-Mara Spa and Grotto (an absolute must experience) and the stunning beauty of Rathtrevor Beach. The friendly city of Parksville is just a short car ride away and offers activities, dining and entertainment.

IN THE VILLA
At 1,109 square feet, Stone’s Throw Cottage is a 2-level vacation home that will instantly make you feel at home. The main floor features stunning beamed wood vaulted ceilings and a wide open floor plan. Chef’s kitchen with modern appliances, a dining space for entertaining, and a family sized living room with gas fireplace. Two generous bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed and a full bathroom with tub and shower are also located on the main floor.

The staircase leads to the upper loft that works perfectly as a third bedroom with a quality, comfortable pull-out sofa bed, modern furnishings and a full bathroom with a large walk-in glass shower.

Guests to Stone’s Throw Cottage appreciate the thoughtful amenities including a full size washer and dryer on the main floor, dishwasher, two full bathrooms, free WIFI and complementary tea and coffee.

The West Coast inspired décor of Stone’s Throw Cottage décor is West Coast inspired. The colour schemes, materials and leather furnishings were chosen with busy holiday families in mind.

ON THE PROPERTY
The front of Stone’s Throw Cottage includes a lawn, private driveway and a well-appointed front porch for enjoying summer evenings with a good bottle of Vancouver Island wine. For barbecues and larger gatherings, a family friendly backyard with dining furniture, grill and a three-person lawn swing is a great place to gather and unwind.
