La casa tiene un plano de planta abierto con una cocina que funciona completamente, un gran comedor y una cómoda sala de estar con chimenea de leña. La cocina está completamente equipada con ollas, sartenes, utensilios y vajilla.
Hay 2 baños completos, uno con bañera / ducha y otro con ducha.
El dormitorio 1, el dormitorio principal, tiene una cama queen size y baño.
2 dormitorios tiene una cama queen y una cama doble. Las dos habitaciones son espaciosas y tienen armarios.
El área del loft tiene 3 camas individuales.
También hay una sala de barro con lavadora y secadora.

Se proporcionan sábanas, pero traiga sus propias toallas de playa para uso en exteriores.
Nuestra casa está ubicada en una carretera privada a minutos del centro de la ciudad con acceso privado al río Cedar y al sendero natural en el lugar. En los meses más cálidos, perfecto para caminar fácilmente desde su puerta hasta los relajantes sonidos del agua del río en cascada. En el invierno, justo en el sendero de motos de nieve Indian Lake con fácil acceso al lago Blue Mountain, Speculator, Long Lake y el sistema de senderos Moose River Plains. We had a great visit! There is beautiful natural light from the windows. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the design of the fireplace and the photos of wildlife in the living room. We hope to come back when we have more time to explore the area. We enjoyed Chef Darrell's Diner in Blue Mountain Lake. there is outdoor and indoor seating.We really appreciated being able to bring our dog, thank you!

We only stayed for 2 nights. The owners were great about changing the dates around. The property was clean. Thankfully we went in the summer so going down the gravel private road wasn't an issue. I had missed the note about turning on the hot water heater, but figured it out after a cold shower. I also assumed there would be soap and shampoo, but there was only 1 bottle of 3-in-1.

Beautiful cabin. Amazing access to Cedar River through nature trail. Convenient to whitewater rafting and hikes. Close to small town of Indian Lake.Had everything we needed. Communication was terrific. Would recommend to anyone.

Tucked away on a private road, but close to the village of Indian Lake with hiking and paddling nearby. The house was roomy, clean, and welcoming. The host was very accommodating and helped with any questions. He even gave us tips on hiking with our pups. We absolutely loved it!!

Property was beautiful, pics do not do it justice. Everything you could need was supplied, and plentiful. The area is absolutely beautiful and to top it all off we were visited by several deer every day.Do not hesitate to stay here, you will not regret it.

Loved everything about this home. Related by the fire with a nice glass of wine. Cooked a nice prime rib dinner and played some games. Saw a lot of deer walking around the yard. Thank you so much for letting stay in your home, we're looking forward to another trip to your beautiful home.

Weekend getaway in the mountains.

This was our 4th time staying here hope to continue the tradition next year. It is the perfect balance of seclusion but also in close proximity to all the ADK park has to offer. The host is responsive, the cabin is warm, inviting, cozy and really makes you feel like you are alone in the woods!

Great Winter stay!

My husband, 2 teens and dog had a great stay at Stephen’s home! We skied Gore mountain, which is short and easy drive from the house (20 minutes). We also enjoyed cross country skiing at Garnett Hill (also a short drive). The house was very cozy, clean and well stocked! We were especially thankful for the wood for the fireplace as the temps were in the teens and we woke up daily to snow! The kids enjoyed hanging in the loft area although my daughter loved sleeping in the “log cabin” room. We would love to visit again in the summer to enjoy the nearby lakes and hiking trails. Thank you for a very relaxing weekend and sharing your home!

Cozy Cabin

We had a very enjoyable stay and it was the perfect place for our family to visit and enjoy the days before Christmas together. We were able to enjoy a cozy fire, the water pressure was amazing, the open floor plan was very nice! We all slept very well in comfy beds with soft sheets! We would definitely come back to this cabin again!!

Short but very nice and relaxing stay

We came for the “parents weekend” at the Long Lake camp for performance arts, so frankly, didn’t spend that much time at the house itself, but definitely would love to come back just for few days to relax and unwind. It’s a rustic house next to the wood, very charming and peaceful, perfect escape into nature. The owner was exceptionally accommodating, responding to our questions within minutes. All the amenities/ bedding- all in great condition (you have to read carefully the instructions on how to turn on the hot water, lol). The bottle of wine was a very nice touch ;)

Ahh yes!

We moved to the south years ago. There is nothing more amazing than coming back to our roots, and the mountains. We could’ve stayed at this beautiful home forever. Many thanks to our hosts for sharing your hospitality and home, and FYI, the pictures on vrbo website do not do this home justice!

Indian Lake hiking trip

Great location, provided us access to numerous ADK hiking trails. Located on a nice secluded lot, easy access into the house. Fully furnished with everything you might need, plenty of natural light, spacious living areas. Really appreciated their attention to detail, especially the ‘welcome to our house’ bottle of wine. Definitely two thumbs up!!.

Perfect family getaway

We had a such a nice time in the Adirondacks. The house was perfect, clean, and comfortable. We were close to everything we wanted to do and had everything we needed to make a fun stay for the kids. Steve and Jean were responsive, wonderful hosts!

Welcome to our labor of love in the Adirondacks! Indian Lake is a special place for me as I have great memories of all the fun we had as kids on our Summer vacations in Indian Lake. I never thought I would return years later and be able to build my own place- it truly was and is a labor of love.

Indian Lake is the ideal Adirondack vacation spot to enjoy the serenity and beauty of nature as well as be centrally located to all the activities and amusements the area has to offer, and our home is perfectly located to be your hub to all your Adirondack adventures. Each season brings a new adventure: whitewater rafting, kayaking, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, ice-skating – your choice of outdoor activities is endless. The area offers all kinds of activities and attractions for all seasons.
The simple pleasure of enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the tops of the pine trees, to me that is always a perfect way to begin my Adirondack
day.
